What a beautiful place located just a few steps away from the coast and only 10minutes drive from San Sebastián city centre. One of my customers recommend this place and I have to agree:Amazing food, all the suppliers from local CASERIOS, and tones of home made sider. The service was outstanding as well as the food.A must if you are around the area.Donât forget to make a reservation.Otherwise, no chance of getting a table.
This was one of the best meals we had during 14 days in Spain. The server (proprietor) was friendly and helpful, and our lunch was fantastic. Hubby said it was the best grilled octopus he has ever had. He claims it was the best meal he had the whole time. I was boring with ham croquetas, but they were so much better than any I had had! Truly excellent wine. A local guide was next to us with a table of tourists, and she spoke of how Bar Argia was one of the best spots in San Sebastian. We agree! Only a few tables so felt lucky we nabbed one before the crowds. Would have come back for dinner had we been in the area and would definitely return here if we come back to Spain.

Situated on a tiny square that has around a dozen bars in an area about half a football pitch. This is a modern take on the pintxo bar with a fantastic selection of hot and cold finger food at a couple of euros a time. Unlike most bars the default beer is in a pint glass which doesn't always work with a bar crawl! The place bustles and tables outside are at a premium - they get switched to restaurant tables at 9pm. Service is OK but there is little English spoken.

Family business,50 years open, renovated in 2017. Local products, grilled fish, special menu, and large assortment of tipical pintxos in the bar.
Three course meal (18 e) was delicious. Four of us got to share fish cake, black squid rice, turbot, hake grilled anchovies, cheese with quince jelly sheep milk in a jar and a traditional dessert. The restaurant does not take reservations during the week so we had to wait about 1/2 hour. Once seated, service was fast and very welcoming. Definitely would return.

It is a nice place to have a few pintxos and a drink, not too expensive. The bar has a good variety of pintxos and there is a nice terraced in the old part of the village. Busy and vibrant. It is a nice stop from walking around.

Walk up, order your beer or wine, ask for a plate and start eating. But keep track of what you eat, it is an honor system. When your finished with napkins throw them in the floor where they belong. The owners have very little English but donât let that worry you, you will be made to feel at home.We ended up eating dinner the second night and were not disappointed. The octopus and calamari were great, mixed salad tasty. We did go back again, it became a go to spot in town for a glass of wine.
