Rock River by Brasov! We are a restaurant,bakery and lounge housed in a spacious facility overlooking Lake Arenal and the surrounding countryside! For those who already know us we are the former restaurant from the same area Casa Delagua Transylvania!

Worth the short walk up the driveway (if you parked across the street). Homemade bread and pastries but, more importantly, family run...and you can feel that when you enter.Also, more affordable than the place across the street. If you want to feel like youâre a guest in someoneâs home vs another customer at a restaurant, this is a must.

Living in the area, I can advise Trip Advisor community that this restaurant is under new owners. It now appears to be typical Costa Rican food. The signage is in Spanish.

Food, service and surroundings all good. I would not hesitate in recommending this establishment. Even though we didn't book they were able to accommodate our table of 11.

Small local coffee shop with fruit juices and baked goods and clean restrooms. We stopped in Tilaran en route to Monteverde and needed to stretch our legs and use the restroom. We walked around the pretty little park in the center of town and found this authentic Tico coffee shop.
