Reviews on Fast Food food in Playa Hermosa, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. An increasingly upscale village, Playa Hermosa overlooks the Gulf of Papagayo and enjoys a pleasant, tropical climate and family-friendly beaches. Abundant water activities include sport fishing, sailing, scuba diving or snorkeling and leisurely sunset catamaran tours. You and your family will also want to visit the area’s national parks. Try a combination of popular local tours – a full day of horseback riding, swimming and lunch at the Volcan Miravalles National Park or an adventurous Canopy Tour to experience Costa Rica’s ecosystems.Just 10 minutes from Playa Hermosa, the lively village of Coco offers a delightful mix of entertainment and shopping. Bars and discos surround Coco’s central plaza. You might even visit a casino to try your hand at Blackjack or roulette. In Playa Hermosa, stop in for lunch at Laberinto on the beach, and you’ll enjoy an unusual meal at Ginger, an open-air tapas bar on stilts. The wild ginger grows beneath the bar, and the chefs create some very tasty and exotic meals. Try the Upper Deck Sports Bar and Restaurant for a colorful combination of televised sports, cold beer, good food and a pet orphan monkey!

This is a brief scoop of my review of this place at Google. "Conveniently located on a main road and within a brisk walk/drive from the beach, it's a place where you can have a made from scratch meal, accompanied with freshly made natural juices and drinks. Me and my friend stopped by this restaurant for breakfast once, and kept coming back for breakfast and dinner every day until we left. Hugo and David cook with love and pride, that's why every dish there is very enjoyable and tasteful. Menu is big enough to satisfy everybody's taste. Our favorites were fried snapper, ceviche, served with baked crispy plantains instead of usual crackers, soup, and spanish omelette for breakfast. Also, fresh-made juices are wonderful. It touched our hearts that Hugo even brought us bowls of water with squeezed lemon and towels for us to clean hands after we had fried snapper. We thank Hugo and David again for making our trip to Hermosa very special. We also recommend this restaurant to everybody who cares for a good, fresh, inexpensive, but tasty dishes in Costa Rica." I addition, I can say that communication is good enough in English. Food is delicious and worth every penny. Very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, nobody pushes you out once you finished your food. Worth of visiting. We regret we didn't have enough time to taste more dishes from the menu. Hopefully, next time! :)

A place to enjoy a Frozen Yogurt, a crepe, or waffle with a good espresso, milkshakes or smothies in an atmosphere of the 50s.
We have had our desert/snack here many times! And every time it tasted delicious! Milkshakes are flavorful with real milk and 2 scoops of ice-cream. Waffles were so filing and yogurt had a right taste. Staff is always smiling and friendly. Highly recommended!
