This was the last dinner we had while in Costa Rica and it was easily the best. Everything is amazing. The food, service and location. This was perfect. The ceviche was amazing (we even ordered another serving as our dessert). The prices are very reasonable as wellHighly recommend!
We'd been meaning to try out this new restaurant in Coco, finally made it, and wish we had gone sooner! Our neighbors raved about it, and now we see why.The menu is limited, but with enough variety to please everyone. I ordered risotto with fish, my husband ordered the Tomahawk steak that we had heard about, and we split an order of mussels for an appetizer. No sooner had our drinks arrived when the power in the whole town went out! Oh no, was our dinner ruined? Nope. They moved a table outside for us where it was cooler, and proceeded to cook our meal.Everything was prepared to perfection. The steak was the most expensive item at about $30, but my husband said it was the best steak he's ever had. It came with a huge serving of mashed potatoes, a salad, and 2 sauces, all delicious. My risotto was great, as well. We topped it off with the chocolate mousse, which was more like what we call lava cake in the states. It came with a shot of rum to pour on top and a scoop of ice cream. A bit of heaven...Would highly recommend this place. The food was perfection, and the service couldn't have been better - even with no power!

Excellent fresh lobster, very flavorful fish entrees, very good drinks, good prices, no complaints!!! Until...we saw the exchange rate on the bill. ridiculous exchange rate, bring Colones or pay with Credit Card, belive me it will be a better exchange rate! Ridiculous!!! But good food!

Stopped in and eat outside late afternoon early evening and enjoyed the resorts lovely beach scene. Pool is to the side and does not distract from the view. Ate simple fish tacos and had a beer. Nice way to close down another day in paradise.

Great service, excellent food. Sea Bass Cervichie is a must try! Crusted Red Snapper excellent as well. We celebrated my sons 18th birthday and Edwin, Freddy, Ceaser and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make it special! Hats, Balloons, sung happy Birthday with the Saxaphone player. Only odd thing, it was BBQ night so we expected BBQ. Only one BBQ dish served. Spare ribs. Still good!

Chao Pescao really impressed on a recent visit! All three primary facets of a great dining experience- food, drinks and service- all really shone. On our first visit we chose our selections and were very happy, on our subsequent visits we took some recommendations from our server and were equally pleased.Chao Pescao is easily the most consistent choice on site at the Andaz.

Sitting and overlooking the bay and its wonderful sunsets and glory is very nice. The staff is pleasant as well but we've been having breakfasts here and there is just no imagination. Same things every morning at a rather tired buffet.

Great seafood restaurant with a beatiful beachfront location. Best option to eat in town at any time of day.
I like the setting of the restaurant, by the beach. People very nice and service very good. The ceviche was good, you can ask for a little more spices if you like it hot. The whole fis are nice and you can asked them grilled instead of fried. It is an old place in CoCo. For the drinks if you are like me a pain in the neck stick to drinks style gin tonic or cuba libre. I had a mojito and it was a cocktail but not a mojito. I would recommend the place because no burgers and or pizzas. A good place to go to avoid crowd of drinking people and enjoying a quiet nice lunvh or diner

This is one of those places whose positive TA reviews are based upon the calories per dollar. The breakfast buffet is $7 and the volume of food is large. The coffee and rice with beans were okay, but the rest of the food was not very good. Even the fruit was not very good. However, the restaurant was busy as it seems to be a hit with locals. We didnât return.

Restaurant and showroom located 100 meters from the beach in Playas del Coco. Decorated by local artists. With vegan options, gluten free, European breakfast, and our specialty, the Spanish tapas and smoked salmon. Our bread is homemade.
My husband and I went for dinner and I have to say it was REALLY good. We had 2 smoked salmon croquets, 2 pinchos each of smoked sea bass and chirizo with cheese and then we shared a ration of their Cajun sea bass with potatoes alioli and a bottle of wine. Everything was excellent! The sea bass was salty but that just fine with me! They also brought us a starter tapa at no charge. The bill came to about $50 Canadian. The service and the timing of the plates were perfect and we left fully satisfied.
