Overpriced. Boring. Drinks are regular. Pool: no big deal. Waiters and bar tenders are as boring as the whole place is. Street sales men and women all over the Beach area offering tours, masagges, surfing lessons, etc. made it feel unsafe. Would search for other options around next time.

We loved coming here before and after dinner. Odger, our favorite bartender made the best guard sours. Became a tradition before and after dinner. There is a large community table in the center of the bar, giving a big group a place where they can socialize. There is room outside as well, but with the heat enjoyed being inside.

My wife and I have hung out there numerous times and it’s 5 stars every time. We’re from Oregon so our beer tastes require something a bit more dank and this place has it. Yes.. they have IPA’s. They have fresh cut sweet potato fries and normal fries I haven’t really found in Tamarindo before that are fantastic. If your into watching sports it’s your place too. The owner is super social and you can tell he knows how to run a restaurant. Just an all around great place in the heart of Tamarindo. Highly recommended!!

I love the vibe of the spot. Very chill and relax. I went with my husband but they def have seating for large parties. The empanadas was not impressive. I had the chicken Casado that was seasoned well and the salad more like a vinegar based coleslaw was refreshing.

This beautiful location is everything that the Marriott is not! We came here for the day from the Marriott because you cannot swim at the Marriott beach! We rented boogies boards, had delicious drinks and smoothies, swam in the pool and had a great time in the ocean and enjoying the gorgeous beach! If you are staying at the Marriott, you need to come here.

We were happy to find a place we could grab and take it back to our house. We tried 3 different burgers and the chicken tacos. I highly recommend the burger with mushrooms. We all liked our food.

This is just a short walk up from Avellanas Beach and is a wonderful place to get a burger, fish sandwich and a beer. The owner/ chef was delightful and everything was prepared from scratch, so enjoy the Caribbean time and sip a beer or soda while you wait for your meal. It is basic with picnic style tables, some stools at the bar, but in the midst of the gently swaying trees and relaxing atmosphere. You will not go wrong making this a stop on your trip.

If your staying at the JW Marriott in Guanacaste I highly recommend taking a walk on the beach (during low tide) to Lola’s for lunch. The food was great and the staff was awesome. The views were also spectacular
