I went to this restaurant with a vegan friend visiting from the US and we had an absolutely incredible meal. Not only were they extremely accommodating but we truly ate the most delicious selection of Tuscan appetizers, first courses and second courses with such fresh local ingredients that we did not even feel overly full at the end. The restaurant is small so call ahead of time, you won't regret it. Amazing, hope to go back soon.

It happens very often to read a review using words like "amazing", "outstanding"... Because of this, I don't really know how to describe "La Imperiale - Ristomacelleria" because they are definitely a step above other meat restaurants. As first dish, we ordered an undescribable Gnocchi di Monica con ragú di cinghiale (hmmmm, so soft and tasty!). As second dish, a Bistecca Fiorentina... can't really describe how soft and fresh it was...Summarizing: a simple place (it is a butcher!) where the quality of their ingredients and cooker makes the big difference. Worth coming with family/friends to remember together how good it was!!! :)

This is the first tasting we had in Italy and after numerous times in napa and Sonoma I must say this was one of the best. We tasted wines from Montauto winery and they were great but Claudio and Fabio, the father and son put on some food display as well. Salami and prosciutto and dried pheasant and cheese and bread. It was fantastic. And the price was right. Highly recommend. Can't say enough about father and son!Thank you for being with us.I have a good memory of you!Montauto is one of the wine cellars that represent the Maremma⦠and then some.I hope to see you soon!Thank you.
