Enoteca winery informal with iron tablet and chairs vintage where you can taste platters of local cheese and salami with jam, vegetable in oil or bruschetta of own production (you can then buy in our laboratory gourmet-shop side) or pici (pasta) all'aglia
This is a small family restaurant with an adjacent store next door. The tables are tight, but that's ok. We loved the food and wild boar sauce was fantastic. How fantastic? I went next door to their store and bought 8 bottles to take home as well as some great tasting olive oil. And how cool are the owners? The took us downstairs to see their ancient underground tunnel and cave. Great food, great owners, if you are in this town, please stop by.Hi, thank you so much for your review we are really happy to know that you've find our shop and our vinery lovely. We wait you again in Pitigliano, thank you Delizie di Ale e Helga - Alessandro e Helga

Enoteca con cucina. Orario da marzo ad ottobre: aperto il fine settimana. Si consiglia la prenotazione.
A brilliant find in the heart of Pitigliano. Great food and - perhaps most importantly for us on the day we visited - in a very shaded spot. Definitely recommended.

We went to dinner here twice. They didn't open until 7:30 p.m. at night, but we were there in March, the off-season. House wine good. Pasta good. Sides good. (Order the greens.) Secondi good. Desserts good. My friends had the lamb stew and the steak that first night and enjoyed it enough that we all went back for our last night in lovely Pitigliano and that last night we shared everything around. My pasta had ricotta and artichokes. My friend's had crispy leeks. Just delicious, all of it. Be aware that in Pitigliano, a small hillside town, people don't have the confidence in their English to speak much of it to you, so we had to fall back on my severely limited Italian, and their understanding of what we were trying to say. It all worked out. Loved my week there.

We had to wait because the two empty tables outside were too small (? Only me and my friend). Three primi on the menu, one not available, so i chose his proposition proposition which was not on the menu: tortelli filled with tartuffo and ricotta. I got: plate full of lasagna blades, completely covered with ricotta cheese, some tartuffo on it. Tartuffo was not the famous one, but lookalike without taste, no herbs, i had to push away the pasta to throw away the "lake" of fat. My friend had kind of tagliatelle with cighiale and tomato sauce. We had to search for the meat because no taste and no color, meat was not wild boar, sauce was sour: i think they just had some leftover sauce, added some concentrated little tomato can. Owner told us proudly the cinghiale was just caught (july? Not the season,so he said illegally fresly caught in the woods, just like the fresh truffle which grew to full size in july after one day of little rain after six months no rain at all). The tagliatelle was not al dente, my pasta was over al dente. We asked sparkling water, got tepid water from the tap. The dishes were not very expensive, but tap water one euro? 1,5 per person coperto. But not tasty, fat,no meat, no cinghale, no tortelli, not the real tartuffo and ... i say no more... and i hate a restaurant owner lying!

What a delightful restaurant! Excellent food using local ingredients and recipes that are cooked to perfection. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, but nevertheless it was not lacking in atmosphere, with a number of small dining areas some leading off into interesting cellars (ask to visit these). For starters my wife had soup (zuppa della nonna), which was declared to be the best soup ever. I had most interesting pasta parcels of beans with pear, delightful with an exquisite hint of sweetness. For mains my wife had breaded lamb cutlets and I had the most tasty plate of lambs kidney (not for everyone, but this was delicious). We found a bottle of Via Cave from Fattoria Aldobrandesca Antinori on the wine list. A local wine that was excellent. We were shown the cellars and also spotted a beautiful patio just outside that would be perfect for summer dining.A number of reviews have mentioned difficulty in finding the restaurant. We walked down the Sovana road from the main square round the outside of the town a short distance and found it very easily. This way, we had the benefit of a beautiful view of Sorano in the evening! All in all, this was an excellent meal and we were astonished at how inexpensive it was considering the quality. Definitely recommended.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to.Tasty dishes and good wine, almost everything is coming from their own farm. Roasted pork is the best.Outstanding value for money!!!Definitely recommended.

We jumped in for some finger food before dinner. The place was recommended by our hotel. It was very good!!The prosciutto, salami, formaggi, carpa cio were exellent! Went for the house white and had 2 diifferent red vini. They were very tasty, bodied... "pesante". The owner was very helpful. This is the perfect place for you if you want to have proper wine with great finger food... we bought 2 dozens of wine, olive oil and tasty cheese. It's a must to visit place!!!

This smaller cafe has an amazing setting, tucked into a uniquely decorated cave. It may seem somewhat nontraditional, but there is clear focus on quality and the owner takes special pride in the sourcing of his ingredients. It shows in the delicious plates that are served. Wine is no exception. If you're a fan of the farm to table movement you will not be disappointed.
Top 10 Central-Italian food in Sorano, Province of Grosseto, Italy

Our photo-tour operators had reconnoitred previously and knew that the narrow country lane led to this excellent restaurant. It seems to be part of a wider "agriturismo" agenda, no doubt to showcase much of the produce of the area. On the day of our visit ( pretty late in the season ), it was deserted other than our party of 11 photographers.Sone confusion as to what was on the menu ( pizza only in the evening we discovered ) and food arriving in odd primo / secondo sequences, but what arrived at table was good. The English much appreciated the capability of combining tasty pasta dishes with decent chips !

Awesome place to eat nice homemade foods and wines in a farm for Agriturismo. The place is located between Sorano and Pitigliano, so it's not too difficult to get there if you drive. Have fantastic dessert as well. ã½ã©ã¼ãã¨ããã£ãªã¢ã¼ãã®éã«ããã¢ã°ãªãã¼ãªãºã¢ãªè¾²åã¬ã¹ãã©ã³ããã¼ã ã¡ã¤ãã®ç¾å³ãããã¹ã«ã¼ãæçãã¯ã¤ã³ã楽ããã¾ãã2015å¹´8æã«è¡ãã¾ããããå¤ã§é£ã¹ãã¾ãããå¸ããã¯ç¾ã®éç§ãè¦ããããã±ã¼ã·ã§ã³ãæé«ã§ãããé£å¾ã®ãã«ãã§ï¼ãã¶ã¼ãï¼ã絶åãªã®ã§ãå¿ããªãã
