When you enjoy your splendid dinners here, time just seem to beautifully stop. I am travelling all over the world, however every summer when I go to this charming, authentic place, there is nowhere else in the world I would rather be. The views are out of this world. Simplicity, Italian family spirit, relaxation are the key words for this cute restaurant. The cognac Pizza is very tasty, and make sure to finish off with cantucci and vin santo...The village itself is also worth walking around before or after dinner, there is the cutest piazza just like in the movies. La bella vita toscana doesn't get any better.

La Ciottolona is a small restaurant with a shady cool garden and pool (don't forget your swim wear) :)The menu is based on the "slow food" movement with local ingredients and tasty surprises such as lemon in the tortellini and capers with anchovies in the vinegar they serve within the slices beef (tagliata di manzo). They also serve a refreshing white wine which goes great with the garden setting under the grape vines. The manager is super friendly and will make you feel at home in his restaurant.

We arrived to this restaurant, very hungry after a long travel day. While the service was nice enough - the food, atmosphere was disappointing. Most disappointing was that they seated us in a hot corner of the restaurant - while locals were ushered out on the porch, patio. We assumed it was not open but were the only ones seated inside. We were in the area a week and never went back.

Very cosy, nice and professional ristorante. Home made and freshly made tuscan delicacies. Antipasti, very good Pasta, Fish etc. Nice vine collection. Good esspresso...and Dessert. Very good prices of vine and food! Nice, romantic location and very sympathic owners. Go and try if you are in the near...

We have stayed in Roccatederighi a few times over the years, and part of the reason is the choice of a few excellent, traditional trattorias to enjoy a wonderful evening meal in.None more so than Il Corso. We have eat en here a number of times and ate here twice during our latest trip to the region. we have always thoroughly enjoyed our visits. The pasta is homemade and wonderfully fresh and light. The meats always succulent, flavoursome and delicious. The first night of our recent trip Mama took our drinks and primi pasta order in the usual fashion - no menu just describing the food which is a challenge with our poor Italian! I had cinghiale on top of ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta (â¬9.50) and my wife had a fresh tortelli dish. Both were lovely. The younger lady served us for the carne. I had wild boar and it was fab. My wife had veal with mushroom (â¬13) which was also delicious and a far more hearty portion than mine! We didn't bother with any side dishes. We had water (â¬1.80) and two half litres of chilled red wine (â¬9).Bill was â¬56.30 and included â¬4 cover for the bread - which did include warmed bread with their own olive oil which was delicious - I bought some later in the week!We of course returned later in the week for a second meal and bought some of Vincenzo's precious olive oil.I cannot recommend a visit to Il Corso enough.

Very nice terrace with a lovely view. The food is quite good overall. I accepted the suggestion of the orata with oranges and marsala and it was excellent. Desserts were also very good and service was impeccable. I personally did not like the pizza that the kids ordered. Also our expert 9 years old agreed with me.

The actual premises is very nice, a cosy trattoria in the centre of town, with some nice decor and features. The pasta starter was good, but the main course (we both had steak, in different fashions) was poor due to some tough and gristly parts. The flavour was good, but the quality of the meat really lacked. The house red wine was awful - like ribena.

Specialises in meat from Cinta Senese, a rare pig breed but also very good beef. The outdoor seating in the summer is very pleasant.

The restaurant la Rosa Blu is located outside the village of Roccastrada, picturesque village of medieval origins, between the charming metalliferous hills of Maremma. Is possible to taste the local production as a selection of cold cuts and Tuscan crosti
Amazing! All food made fresh! The views were perfect. The son is the waiter, the mum does all the pasta and veg, the dad the pizza and meat. Oh and the dad sings for the entertainment! 100% the best food and atmosphere on our 2 week trip. We are going again tomorrow, just wish we had found it earlier as we go back home in 2 days :(. The son even let me see his German Shepherd puppies (may have lost my mind a bit at this as Iâm such a dog person). You have to eat here!

A typical Tuscan inn where you can enjoy the dishes and the special welcome of the interior Maremma. From Nada is a synthesis of pleasures.
Stayed in nearby villa for six weeks and ate here once a week with our group of 13. Everything we ate was delicious and we tried almost everything on the menu and even a few things that weren't to those with dietary restrictions. This family run restaurant has it all - great vibe, terrific service, reasonably priced, beautiful view. This area of Tuscany is not on the usual tourist route but is well worth the effort. I'm forever ruined for their chicken marsala and hope to return.
