Old-times restaurant and wooden decor, quick service and really fresh seafood. We shared an antipasto platter and then had a frittura (fried shrimps and cuttlefish), which was tasty and crispy, and an octopus salad with grilled aubergines and courgettes.House wine and water (no dessert/coffees) and payed 55 â¬.Overall good price for location (central and easy to reach) and quality.

The local is recently restructured with an unusual formula. Here you can eat specialities, sitting at the table or taking away. We offer a traditional Tuscany menu accompanied by an extensive wine list with more than 400 different tipes, mostly super Tusc
Finding a typical Italian restaurant (not a one for tourist) in Follonica was a really nice surprise! As antipasti, I can only recommend the Tuscany plate ... really great! As main course, the "Baccala del Beccofino" is a must!Pay attention that the place is quite busy, reserve in advance or be there early!

Excellent restaurant with a decent menu choice and a huge wine list. The food is superb, nicely presented. Staff is excellent. Service with a smile. Helping are good. Waiting times for being served are just fine. Itâs not cheap but the food is worth the money

One of mi best food experience in this area! At this time no turists in this restaurant, only locals. Meat of supreme quality, lovely dessert and above all, Michaele- the owner, is so friendly you feel like home. Everyone should try!Wow! Thanks for the beautiful review. I hope to see you again soon. Have a nice holiday!

Having read the positive reviews, we thought to dine in a place of excellence. The restaurant is small. The tables are tiny and uncomfortable. No room for anything. Really crammed. The food is okay but nothing extraordinary. We are not going back.

One of the Italian friends recommended this place. "He said. I was glad to eat there. Really good!". I was truth. You can taste there one of the most special beefs created by Dario Cecchini, a leading contemporary internationally known Italian butcher. The place is very simple. It reminds me of stylized vintage osteria. The central place is a huge fireplace - grill, where the chef is preparing in front of klients all specialities, like for instance Bisteccha alla Pancanese, tagliata etc. The plates are very elegant, chic. I suggests a try a bit of everything, antipasti, primo for instance tortellini maremmani. In conclusion we got a nice surprise , it was a book of poetry! Grazie mille. We will of course come back there.

We enjoyed the bruschetta served on a wooden board, with 5 types.Caprese (tomatoes, mozzarella and Basil), Bombardona (beans, spicy salami) We had a local beer which was quite nice. The waiter was very friendly and took time to explain everything.

We have been booking following the suggestion of a "native" friend as he was valuing the place a lot. I confirm the choice! Friendly atmosphere, fresh fish crostini as an appetizer , seafood spaghetti and Vittoria (grandmas) baccalà . Good suggestion from a good wine list. Very good price /quality ratio.
