We stopped here for lunch and were very pleased with the quality and choice of food on offer, friendliness of staff and overall experience. A party of 4 people, we sat outside and had drinks first. Even though it was the lunch period we were not hurried into ordering food until we were ready. All dishes served were freshly cooked and very tasty. I had beef ravioli which is a dish that can lack flavour if not cooked well, but this was full of flavour. Seafood pasta was also delicious. Bar looked newly refurbished. We were only passing though the resort on our way to the airport but, if i was staying here, i would definitely have come back to the bar again in the evening for drinks/food.

This restaurant was truly a pleasant surprise. Searching for another, we saw the sign for Can Ferriol and decided to follow it beside a cycle track made from the old Palamòs-Palafrugell railway line. It was a Saturday in June, and it was good to see that there was no shortage of family cyclists. The restaurant has two dining rooms, both decorated as though they still belong to the family, with lots of books, photos and ornaments. The food, cooked and brought to the table by mother and daughters, was of excellent quality. Good value, too, at â¬16 for a weekend lunchtime menu.We tried to book again for a birthday meal, but found that the toilets are inadequate (by reason of 6 steps) for a person with mobility issues. One other suggestion - erect a green fence to hide the caravan graveyard visible on approach! In short, a tranquil, friendly place.

Popular restaurant, so advised to book, which thankfully we did ! Good choice menu, and good service by friendly staff. Tapas was a little different here, and most interesting. We chose Meat Croquettes, Japanese Salad, Scallops & Serrano served on a bed of mash & artichokes, Tuna Tartare Tartlets & a delicious Chocolate Pudding to finish. Everything was superb, such lovely flavours and well presented too. A lovely evening with excellent food. Well recommended.

Had lunch here. It was incredible. It was heaving with customers, and staff were whizzing around at a great pace. Yet the service was warm, welcoming and helpful. I don't think I've had steak, bacon and chips except in mixed grill. But here I had a plateful, well prepared, for less than ten Euros. My wife's meal was equally well priced and well cooked. For luch this was perfect.

A lovely start to our holiday in Costa Brava. Warm hospitality, nice ambiance, large tables and good company. We had the jamon, cod with peas and morcilla, and the delicious suquet fish stew made with fresh fish that was presented to us and chosen beforehand. All washed down with a superb Rioja Tondonia that was excellently priced. Ended with their apple crisp which had a decadent amount of cinnamon and spice. Amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone passing through the area.

It used to be a tapas restaurant in a place with many of them - and it was great! Last summer they changed into a restaurant - little attraction. Now we went as they announced again tapas... but in fact it's a restaurant with some tapas, that we ordered: huge portions! But on the bill it turned out that they didn't give (nor charged) the tapas but the similar plates as meals... which explains the portions for a tapa...It was good but apart from the friendly but little professional service the calamars al Andalusia were way too fatty.Let's not speak about the bill: first the bille from the only other table, then ours with something on it we didn't order nor had and the 3rd time was the good time!Still I'll try again - but then the restaurant as they have a nice selection of iberico meat dishes!Sr Philip hope to see you soon and unfortunately we are humans, we are very sorry about the misunderstood with the bill. As you mentioned before we introduced some tapas, but we still focus on whole portions. Hope to see you very soon with some friends in order to share your food!:)
