This place is just a fun rugged outdoor spot with somewhat healthy / decent food! The chickpea bowl was tasty, the patatas bravas were great, the hummus was different and cool, the veggie burger was alright - it's definitely worth visiting, and it's just a great vibe... welcome change from stuffy typical restaurants. (We were sent there by a local scuba dive guide.)

There's only one bar/restaurant to visit in Estartit this is it!!!! Beautiful setting funky modern decor with great comfy furniture and it also has a pool sun loungers great for lazy lunch & on the weekend a separate disco until the early hours! The family run business is run by Yolanda & Ramon who are the most helpful lovely Catalan people you will ever meet, we arrived late & they had no problem making us something to eat the food is fabulous Mojitos dangerously delicious & the gold cold beer a treat!!! So if in Estartit please pay it a visit you won't be disappointed but highly impressed!

Hidden away behind shading trees & underneath an apartment block behind the Waterports Beach. I truly admire these sassy French girls cos they're giving it a go. Good on 'em! They've got a nice gaff. They're very friendly and multi-lingual. Yet the whole place is spoiled by lack of attention to their Grand Terrace (mostly weeds, scruffy/bare patchy grass & all too obvious chain link fence). Quelle dommage.Une oasis de verdure avec d'Åuvres d'art modernes à regarder tout en profitant des cocktails sur des canapés confortables.Pourquoi pas?Making this potentially verdant area much prettier (flower beds, flower pots with colour, murals/artwork covering the chain-link, well manicured lawn) would make it much much more attractive AND a sweeter place to lounge about. They have large sofas for you to use. Nice touch.Owners are fine; position is good; drinks & grub as you would expect. Could be so much more attractive with just a little effort (and without much expense).Worth a visit. One of the few gentle quiet places you'll find in this hustle bustle resort.

Lovely friendly family run bar/restaurant with good food and a lovely atmosphere. This bar is so new, it hasnât got its signs up yet, I had the fillet steak on my first visit, which was lovely and a cheese board with cheeses recommended by the owners and all local and Catalan. Next visit had the black rice- really good. Really recommend, if you are in Estartit give it a try

Visited here on our last night in L'Estartit. We shared the Mega Tapas that was very good.... and our girls had Chicken nuggets that were as good as you expect plus we ordered Rack of Ribs that were fabulous.. succulent... tasty and huge in portion! See picture!Beers were great - Restaurant has around 100 bottled Beers... mainly Trappist style at UK prices... not cheap but a welcome different choice to the usual in nearby restaurants.Add to that great service.. friendly and personal as we like then nob complaints in recommending this Pub / Restaurant if you are looking for something a bit different!

We had a few meals here during our stay. We were welcomed with open arms and the staff were very friendly. Menu was good range and very well priced. For a family of 5 with drinks we ate for â¬40, an absolute bargain!

I have visited this establishment numerous times over the years, and have always been more than satisfied, hence my repeat visits, but have just had a terrible visit. The main complaint was that the gravy was a solid gelatinous mass and, had I been prepared to eat it, it would have required spooning out onto my plate as it certainly couldn't have been poured. It was like over thickened wallpaper paste, except stickier and probably not as tasty I asked the waitress what it was, as it certainly wasn't gravy "yes, that's gravy" she replied sarcastically as she flounced away. The next waitress was more polite, apologising and saying that she would speak to the"chef". Perhaps significantly, the proprietor was not on the premises at the time but I won't be taking the risk again so won't be re visiting.

Been a couple of years since we were last in L'Estartit and were pleased to see this friendly, well run place is still as good as ever. Friendly staff, great food and drinks (especially the beers served in frozen glasses!!). Pleased to report that they still serve the best Bailey's Espresso around. Can't wait to be back again for the beer and burgers. Cheers
