We stopped here for Sunday lunch and I am glad we did. Feels and looks like a bistro but it is really so much more. Wonderful food served by very friendly staff. While the Burrata with pesto was great I ordered the poached egg which was spectacular. For main courses all of the meat was wonderful. If you have sweet tooth try the Uruguayan speciality!

Happened on this café on 1 st January 2015 - it was the only place open, and we were really glad to appreciate their excellent coffee, and patisseries. A lot of thought has gone into the decoration, and the owners work harder than most - and this pays off - the place is cwelcoming, clean, well run and well worth a visit.Thank you for being open on the 1st!

I tend to go to Aroma mainly for breakast, as it's the only place where my wife can have a decent cappucino with soya milk (soya apparently is still a rarity in this part of the world!) and also some very good croissants and boccadillos. On occasion, we've also had the buffet for lunch, and if you are after some unpretencious food, with good variety and taste at an incredible value, than you will be satisfied here. As a smoker, I love the fact that they have a terrace where I can sip my coffee or have an aperitif outside and watch the world go by. It's very central but on a street away from the main hustle a bustle, if you come here you feel more like a local and less like a tourist.

To be honest, I don't know why it's called El Rincón Cubano... as far as I remember, there were no Cuban dished. But in any case, the food was really good and the price, really reasonable. The entrecots were great.

We were staying just around the corner and with excursions concluded for the day went for a walk around the block and found this gem. As we sat ourselves at our seats the "waiter" helping us in some language we did not understand - not helped by my hearing aids playing sillies. He then had a go in English, not too difficult as he was English ! He was also the owner and from the North East. He was also fluent Spanish and to watch and hear him changing language was brilliant. The menu was good too. A cake and cuppa later we were best of friends.Just as well, a I left my tin of pills and potions needed for my Parkinson's at the table and was able to pick the tin up a bit later. He reminded us again that Friday was Curry Day ! How could we refuse.Come the day and the Curry was superb, His wife makes them by hand along with the sauces and so on. The locals appear to like these currys too as there was a goodly number of them sampling the goodies on offer. Now. How can i wangle another trip there??
