Reviews on Barbecue food in Platja d'Aro, Province of Girona, Spain. Castell-Platja d'Aro is a municipality in the middle of the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain. It is formed from two parts: Castell d'Aro is an ancient village built around a medieval castle and a fortified church, 3 km inland on the road from Platja d'Aro to Santa Cristina d'Aro; and Platja d'Aro is a coastal town on the road from Palamós to Sant Feliu de Guíxols which stretches along a large 2 km beach. The perfect place in Tenerife to eat a real paella next to the sea. Amazing views and best sunsets :)
You can eat here for affordable prices, not a luxurious restaurant, but very convenient if you're staying in Politur, because the swimmingpool is just there

Amazing seafood rice and meat. Excellent wine menu at fair prices. Professional staff happy to help. I had the chance to talk to the owner who loves what he does and has the ability to spread his passion for food. Worth for a great mediterranean lunch/dinner plenty of choices both basic and gourmet.

We had steaks and rotisserie chicken on different visits and they were both absolutely first class. You get a lot of good meat for your money. The staff are helpful and VERY welcoming. If you want a BBQ type meal this would be hard tp beat. Buy your wine by the glass, not the bottle - far better value and the house wine is very good. Thanks for comments.

Comfortable restaurant with homemade food. Good prices. Friendly attention. Large terrace. High product quality. Grilled meats. Fresh fish at its cooking point. Clean, spacious and comfortables toilets.
passing near the place ,looked over the menu and saw very tempting Entrecôte 500gm in the menu,so decided to go in for dinner with the family.pros:*nice place good atmosphere*good and fast service.*tasty sangria *good calamari dish *not expensive prices.cons.*the 500gm Entrecôte was very nice looking but when i started to cut it I discover around 300gm of fat and bone and 200gm of meat -i was very disappointed.*kids menu chicken nuggets were not very tasty the kids refuse to it it, but the potatoes were good.*at the beginning we were served with some brad and olives &small eggs to the table(we didn't ordered it) as i discover in the end that we were charged extra for this - what is most annoying is that no one tells you its not for free and you have no way to know if you need to pay for this in advance. i prefer a place that charge you only for what you order and not "pushing" things to the bill(i know it happens a lot in Spain).bottom line: i will not go again to this place as i was disappointed from the things listed above.

the title says it all... food is nice (try the bbq at the table) in this true BBQ restaurant. Kids will enjoy as well. The terrace however is overcrowded and as a result the service cannot keep up: missed orders, extreme slow response, and clearly high stress levels. Do make reservations.

Came here with a group of friends. The service was extremely friendly. I spoke with one of the servers who was actually Argentinian. The food was average. Having been to to parilladas in Argentina, the execution of cooking and food preparation were the same. It was the beef that was different here. Argentina probably has the best beef in the world and probably hard to source in a small town in Spain. The spanish beef just didn't compare. I would return just for the friendly atmosphere and conversation though.Muchas gracias por tu opinión.
