I tend to go to Aroma mainly for breakast, as it's the only place where my wife can have a decent cappucino with soya milk (soya apparently is still a rarity in this part of the world!) and also some very good croissants and boccadillos. On occasion, we've also had the buffet for lunch, and if you are after some unpretencious food, with good variety and taste at an incredible value, than you will be satisfied here. As a smoker, I love the fact that they have a terrace where I can sip my coffee or have an aperitif outside and watch the world go by. It's very central but on a street away from the main hustle a bustle, if you come here you feel more like a local and less like a tourist.

This place is maybe not that different from other places in town and it is a very typical Spanish fast food. You may get tapas, churros, coffee and sandwiches for a very decent price, and... very important... the service is very nice. We got churros for free for tasting and got explanations with much patience. The sandwiches are good as well as the bravas. Try out the self made crisps as well they are good. The xurreria is quite cheap because it is not located on the Ramblas or in the pedestrian zone. But still it is only some meters away from Ramblas.

This sweet place located near the Rambla is very reasonably priced. The fixed course I had was salad, burger and brownie for desert. All were nice. The lady serving speaks very good English and is friendly and courteous.
