Reviews on International food in Figueres, Province of Girona, Spain. Figueres is the birthplace of Salvador Dali and home to the Dali Museum, one of the most-visited Spanish museums. Not surprisingly, it is the place for the lovers of fine art. Close to the border with France, this Catalan city offers great food, wine, and beaches. Figueres is just 15 minutes by car or 25 minutes by train from the beaches of Costa Brava. Not as touristy as Barcelona, the city offers a relaxing atmosphere, quiet cafes, an historic Old Town and square, and even a castle.

Slightly off the beaten track but well worth a visit. It was very busy and we had not booked but the staff happily found us an elevated table by the bar. So although we were seated highup it gave us a view into the kitchen which I always enjoy! We only had a main due to our time constraints. Two shared a meat and seafood paella which was delicious. Another chanterelles, polpo with ham which was extremely flavoursome. And a steak which again was cooked to perfection. We all enjoyed our lunch here and wished we could have come back to try more of the menu as it's so tasty. We loved the decoration as well. Very contemporary which made what is a quite a narrow room feel wider.

Amazing Restaurant and bar found in the Ronda Hotel. The service and food was amazing. The staff are friendly and the restaurant decor modern and cool. The main attraction is the food that was superb and well priced. I had the fillet steak that was far better than most that I had had anywhere in London. We also received a complimentary bottle of wine as we was staying in the hotel, What more could you want, Perfect.Dear CustomerWe thank you for your kind opinion. We see that you liked the free wine offer, which we offer on specific days, during dinner.Thank you very much and see you soonSincerelyLidia Coll. Taken here by Catalan friends, who really rated it - and we totally understand why. It is a restaurant that has only relatively recently opened, but is renown for having an excellent chef. The Menu del DÃa was fantastic value for money. Difficult to recommend dishes, as most of the menu changes daily. There are certain dishes at extra cost, which seem to be more constant, such as the beef chop, and the snails. Our creps stuffed with vegetables as an entrée were delicious, but so was the John Dory. The house wine was also very good. However you will be hard put to find a better Crema Catalana. Including one extra dish, wine, water and coffees, the meal came to â¬70 for 4 people. Not easy to beat that. One important tip.....this is not a big restaurant, and locals rate it highly, so you would be well advised to book, as people were being turned away at one point yesterday.Good Morning. Thank you for your review. We are very thankful about all the details that you wrote down before. Thank you so much for enjoy the meal for know about us and for visit us. Thank you so much, we hope to see you again. Kind regards,
