Despite Trip Adviser's rating of 17/22, 3 teenage boys decided this is where they wanted to eat, and we were pleasantly surprised. V popular with locals, who obviously know better.Good, if not special, food (no pizzas), pleasant and friendly atmosphere, staff very good. Value for money

Myself and 2 friends chose to try this popular/busy place (we were a little hungry from trail riding in the local area). It was extremely busy with a constant flow of customers. The wife is definitely the boss, she runs a tight ship and keeps her sons busy serving the tables with food and drinks.None of our group speak Catalan and only have very basic Spanish language skills, however fellow Spanish diners were really helpful in joining in our conversations and translating and recommending dishes to try.We were only really after a small lunch, but ended up with the â¬12.50 menu which was 4 courses and everyone was extremely happy with their meals. The âbossâ who seemed a bit scary to start with, was actually great fun and she knew we really enjoyed the chaos!!I strongly recommend this place and hope to return for dinner maybe tomorrow!

Me and my family got there by a local who suggested the place for lunch. Easy to find and to park nearby if you're driving. The place inside is a bit austere yet well lit and clean. We all had the menu which is a three-course meal, it was around 13⬠including bread, drink and dessert. Starters were either soup or salad, generous portion and quite good. First courses we had 'trinxat de col i patates' which we loved, others had spaguetti bolognese but the actual menu included a few more dishes too. The main was equally delicious; some went for fried eggs and bacon which were really fresh, but the star dish was the beef-casserole served with potatoes; really really moist and juicy, the sauce was very tasty too and the portion again quite big. Desserts again yummy yummy: crema catalana was the most ordered but I went for 'turró' ice-cream. Come here if you want to walk out feeling absolutely stuffed.Mireia was the waitress who looked after us, very polite and efficient. She also made sure the two children got enough food each on their plate by splitting up in two a menu. So we paid around 89⬠for 6 adults and two kids; fantastic deal. 100% recommended

We didn't know where to eat and following locals is usually a good result. It wasn't great. The menu was Andalusian which was a challenge but the waiter was so helpful looking everything up on his phone for us, we are not at all fussy but the meat was rather boney . Everything was done on the cheap which is not our usual experienced of Spain. It filled a gap but wouldn't go again.

A delight. We were a group of 7 and we had the Sunday menu (a choice of 4 starters and 4 mains and 4 dessert, drinks incl was 16⬠per person). We tried almost all dishes, and they were all excellent. The portions are the perfect size, all traditional Mediterranean cuisine with a bit of an edge. It would be hard to pick just one to recommend, everything feels fresh, tasty and nicely presented. We ate at the terrace outside; and two floors inside. The service was excellent, the place is clean has been recently renovated. We will certainly repeat; we hear the menu is slightly cheaper for weekdays lunch, and at nights you get to pick from a larger list of tapas-sized dishes. They are all perfect to be shared, btw.Thank you for your positive feedback. The Taps team, sincerely thanks you for your recommendation. We hope to see you soon.regards

This was our second mid week lunch visit where we too the Euros 23 set menu of 3 courses all of which were excellent. Mmmmm. Inside the restaurant there is a good ambience, efficient service, and no music as on both occasions there were sufficient customers not to need any music.

Great place. Excelent product well cooked with some creativity. Excelent relation price/quality. We were 4 and we celebrate an ocasion. So, we ate 2 dishes/each (2 of us steak), dessert, wine cava and gintonics. We paid 50e/pax. Just one thing, the steak was a little bit too done.

We only had lunch here and, while there was a bit of a delay taking our order and getting our meals, the food was lovely and the setting/atmosphere lovely.Thank you very much for your review, we feel sorry about the delay but it was because we always take the orders in the same order that our customers arrive in the restaurant, so that day there were some customers who arrived before you. We really appreciate your meal and the atmosphere. Thanks a lot!
