Went here as it had good reviews on trip-advisor. We were not disappointed.Really great salad and Paella. The wine I chose was not available but the manager/owner suggested another. Was a great recommendation. Very much enjoyed our time in this very busy and cosy place. Can not believe that after nearly 20 years in the area I have never been here before.Look forward to the next time.

Pizzeria Roma is popular and we (2 adults+2 kids) needed to wait a while until we received a table. We ordered 2 pizzas to share and one of the kids ordered a pasta pesto. The pizzas was with serano ham, permansan cheese, rocket salad and cherry tomatoes. They where really, really good so if you are looking for a real Italian Pizza this is the spot in this area. The prices are reasonable around 11-13 euros each. So if you are going here donât get afraid of the cues, the pizzas are worth waiting for!

Restaurant of Mediterranean cuisine, its specialties are: the seafood and the grilled fish, the rice dishes to the traditional style casserole and its menus of the Gamba, l'Escamarlà and l'Olla de Peix.
Simon is a very good and modern restaurant located in the promenade of Sant Antoni de Calonge, near Palamós. In fact, the restaurant was remodeled few years ago, and now is very modern. We came here with friends to eat a Prawn Menu (a typical menu in this part of Costa Brava). In the menu, there are the following dishes: anchovies with bread and tomatoes (very good!), prawns (wonderful!) and fideuà (a typical mediterranean dish with noodles and fish, it was in the average). Also, we were in the terrace, so it was not so hot. The staff was a little slow with dishes.A very good place to eat prawns and other local dishes and take a bath in the sea.

We had a meal consisting of the set menu, consisting of appetizers, main dishes and desserts. It was all wonderful. The restaurant served us a small appetizer with olives. We ordered as appetizers fried calamari, and croquetas of chicken and of cheese. Spanish croquetas have a thin crunchy breaded coat over a pasty filling. Both types were savory, and the cheese croquetas were filled with a kind of blue cheese, which kept its distinctive flavor but was not overpowering. Two groups of two diners shared two of the signature dishes at the restaurant: seafood paella, and seafood fideua. Fideua is a dish prepared much like paella, except using inch-long pieces of broken fideos, a fine noodle commonly used is Spain for soups, instead of rice. Both were excellent. I had the chicken, also very good. For desserts, we had chocolate soufflé with raspberry sauce which was not too sweet, just a little tart; sorbet de maracuya (passionfruit) which was also tart, but delicious in taste with a great consistency; mango ice cream, sweet and very creamy with a delicious flavor; requesón (a kind of creamy Spanish cheese) with layers of honey; and crema catalana, which is sort of like a Catalan version of flan with a surface of caramelized sugar, also delicious. All the desserts are house-made. The server was very polite, attentive and engaged, offering suggestions and demurrers as he felt necessary. The woman who served as the maitre d' was also very engaging, and described what were possibly her creations â the restaurant is small, and there were only the two of them in the dining room â lovingly, and made suggestions based on preference expressed. She may have been the owner; I didn't ask. I whole-heartedly recommend it for great food. It cost us â¬170 for 5 fixed-price dinners, a couple of glasses of wine, some soft drinks, a couple of bottles of water.

You know you are in for a treat when the menu is limited, varied and interesting. Service, food, and atmosphere perfect. Off the beaten track, a great find.

Entre dos mons (Between two worlds) relates directly to us and the cultures we were raised in - Peruvian and Catalan. Our cuisine is based on a shared love and passion for food, drawing inspiration from childhood memories as well as many influences picked

We (2 adults and 2 kids) went yesterday to this restaurant. Expectations was rather high based on recomendations. We ordered Paella, Grilled Octupus and I took the charcoal grilled Entrecote.Just seeing how the food was presented on the plates told us about their ambitions. The taste was great and well accomplished with recommended vines. We was delighted and will return during our stay. Comparing to the restaurants around this was 10-15 euros more expensive for our family but worth it. The interior is also nice and classy. The only thing that could improve is maybe to have some more choices towards the younger audience. We took a starter for our 9 year old as none of the main courses suited her.

Restaurant located in the bay of Palamos-Sant Antoni de Calonge (Costa Brava), where seafood is served tradi tional. It's a family restaurant run today by the sons of the founders. His specialties include seafood pescadors. It has a dining room on two lev
We each had starters - Anchovies on bread and fried sardines. The fried sardines were a bit underwhelming in my opinion but my husband loved them. The anchovies were excellent! We shared the lobster paella which was very tasty, nice and hot and had a great texture. I mention the fact that it was hot because when you sit outside to hear, you do not want your food cooling off immediately. The service was also very attentive and friendly. There was only one thing I would have changed - personally,I did not need to see the lobster before they cooked him for our paella and would have preferred to be asked if I wanted to inspect him at our table. My response would have been "No Gracias". It was very nice sitting outside and even though you are sitting next to the pavement where everyone is strolling, you do not feel like you are in the middle of everyone. You can enjoy the surroundings while still feel like you are having a romantic dinner.

Great location with good parking. Good greeting. Nice garden area to eat in. Wide menu choices and good wines by the glass. All set well. But beautiful green asparagus was served quite clearly burnt in parts on the barbeque because it had not been oiled - it ruined what could have been a great starter. Hake? Usually a masterpiece in Spain was well over cooked and I felt not quite as fresh as we usually find. There were plenty of people eating there, many of whom were local, but for us a disappointing meal after such a good welcome.
