Trattoria and Cocktail bar with the interior design that will pull you back into the 20's and 30's. We have a "a la carte menu" for the inside trattoria where we follow the seasonality of all the ingredients we use and we have a separate menu of "street f
This restaurant is worth visiting for the atmosphere and ambience - great fun with all sorts of interesting decorations and a blue-tiled kitchen visible through the hatch. Food was also very good, starters, mains and desserts. Dishes were well-cooked with unusual choices of flavours. The amuse-bouche (?fried chickpea bread things?) was a bit disappointing and a very filling way to start a meal, but it was good to taste a local speciality. My boyfriend enjoyed the beef tartare starter and tripe main course. My risotto with nuts and gorgonzola was al dente (just to warn you in case you like your rice softer) and an interesting red colour! We tried all the 4 red wines which were offered by the glass (one glass of each between 2 of us), first the lighter ones then the full-bodied ones, which allowed us to appreciate the different flavours.Best to make a reservation - we only just managed to get a table on a Wednesday night. Total cost for 2 people having a 3 course meal with drinks was around 80-90 euros.

The restaurant is tiny, and you're kind of packed in, but everyone is thoughtful and cordial and it seems cozy. The dishes are authenticly Ligurian, and delicious. We had the minestrone genovese, with a nice glob of pesto in the middle, and spaghetti with arselle, little tiny clams, to begin, and they were both excellent. The spaghetti had the flavor of the clams all the way through it, and the portion was very generous. For a second, we split the calamari al diavolo, small tender squid in a wonderful rich tomato based sauce. With this we had a bottle of water and a "quarto" di vino. The service was quick and jolly, the food was really good, and the bill was 35E total.

Stumbled on this place through tripadvisor. It was superb, in a town we didn't think offered much this was a complete surprise. You don't chose from a menu, but you are served with loads of fabulous dishes, using mainly fish and local ingredients. Accompanied by bucket loads of lovely local frizzante wine! All for â¬35 per head, I have no idea how they do it. And then to top it, the owner took us back to our hotel in his people carrier. Not sure why anyone would stay in Chiavari, but I'd come back to eat here!!

The AgriRestaurant "La Bilaia" is located between gardens, orchards and olive groves in Lavagna when you can see the promontory of Portofino. The evening atmosphere is by candlelight every night except Saturday for greater appreciation of the landscape ou
We booked a table on the recommendation of our hotel, Excelsior Palace, and we certainly wasn't disappointed. The views were spectacular, especially during sunset. The family that own and run the restaurant were so welcoming and the food was fantastic. One part of me wants it to remain a hidden gem so it doesn't lose its charm. The other part and rightly so wants everyone to know how good it is! A must if you're in the area. We will be back!

Ottima cena con i piatti della tradizione, ben presentati con l'orgoglio di chi ama il proprio mestiere e fare le cose come si deve. Consigliatissimo!!!!

I was visiting the area and this restaurant was recommended. It did not disappoint. We opted for the 35 Euro fixed menu and it was plate after plate uniqueness. Everything was fresh and delicious. From the shrimp appetizer to the anchovies to the pasta and pineapple dessert, it was all captivating and new. The location was interesting, set inside a cave with melted candles and frying pan lighting. Wine, water and espresso was included. The service was excellent (to include a parting gift along with a chocolate limoncello drink). No doubt this will be a life time memory for me. It was more then a meal, it was an experience.

A very cozy little restaurant just outside Chiavari's city centre, next to the junction of the motorway. The emphasis is on (very fresh) seafood but there are other options (the menu is rather extensive). The food is delicious: traditional yet with a twist, and the presentation of the dishes is in line with their quality. The service is professional yet friendly. The couple (chef and wife) who runs the restaurant is very nice and passionate. We only had a glass of wine and did not explore the wine list, but it looked complete. Excellent price/quality ratio in the range of 35-55 euro per person, depending on menu choice and wine. Warmly recommended.Dear Alessandro, thank you very much for your opinion about our Restaurant. We hope to see you soon again.Lo staff

La Brinca porposes a large variety of traditional local dishes wich stem from the peasant heritage of West Liguria, therefore only using on the local farm produces of the season
Finally a break from the seafood restaurant with this great journey on typical food from the area. Loved the appetizers and the rabbit. Very ample and interesting wine selection. Attentive and professional service. Prices are great for the value you get. Nice option to stop by the cellar and buy some extra wine or local products. A bit out of the way, but certainly worth the detour!

Quick lunch.Location is not really on the way...Also the entrance is not the best: at the end of a steep climb to be covered on foot.Place appears as an old style restaurant, family-operated business.Anyway, food is not bad. Traditional Ligurian dishes.Very cheap.A very sore point: POS out of order.

We got here at 800pm and found it full of locals, that's a good sign. Food was simple local cuisine and it was fantastic. Rabbit stew was especially good. The speciality is pasta with walnut sauce, again, it was awesome. It's loud, unapologetic and painted with white walls, doesn't even look like a restaurant, but don't kid yourself, the food is what u should be eating here... Id 100% recommend this place to anyone.
