Things to do in Apricena
A modern, young and bold place for those who want to ï¬nd themselves in a new environment to breathe in an urban atmosphere. The industrial style and minimal design combine with abstract and natural shapes creating an authentic place.Urban Mind, the urban c
Locale veramente bello e ben tenuto. Accoglienza e cortesia veramente eccellenti. Antipasto molto abbondante e buono. Ottimo anche il secondo. Primi e pizze le proverò la prossima volta.
Restaurant located in the courtyard of the historic Baronial Palace. A few steps from the museum, clock tower. Guided tours on request.

Back to my native village for a few days last month, one of my priority was to visit the relatively newly opened â Tasca di Apricena â. The person behind this idea is once again the local and innovative restaurateur Alessandro Iacubino, better known as "u capitan" (Capitan). Inspired by the Spanish concept of Tasca or taberna , Alessandro has maintained the soul of the place (once a little grocery shop) still intact.La Tasca in fact, not only is the right spot in town to gather with friends while consuming excellent drinks and food but it also works as a deli shop where to buy organic and delicious products such as cheeses, salami, ham, biscuits etc. Great surprise for me was also to see a mouth watering Pata Negra ham sitting on its stand at the counter: definitely a product that you wonât easily find in the area. The staff is absolutely great and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and joyful, moreover they often organise live music entertainment. Iâm looking forward to come back.

We traveled to this lovely town in September and enjoyed the accomodations at Tenuta Grotta degli Ulivi immensly. The rooms were and linen very clean, roomy and quite nicely detailed. Although it was a bit cool to swim in the pool it look fantastic, especially from our private patio outside the room. Breakfast in the dining room was included with fresh pastries that melted in our mouths. One evening we ate at the restaurant as a party of six, and were totally blown away by the quality and quanity of the food. The service, atmosphere, food and drink was the best anyone could ask for. Thank you so much for accomodating us with the two rooms for both evenings and as well serving us the best meal we had in Italy the two weeks we were there. Not to discount the other meals we had, it is hard for not get a great meal in Italy but this one was certainly the best. Would I go back?? I would love to, maybe some day!

Historical and picturesque location in a medieval building. Typical local cuisine with revisiting.
Bel locale nel centro del paese gestito dal bravo Michele che sa ben consigliare e raccontare i piatti serviti. Prezzi un tantino alti.
