We passed by this restaurant after visiting the church, because we followed a sign "back to parking, panoramic route". We were looking for a light lunch that was not pizza. We were not disappointed. Good food at reasonable prices. I had a very tender octopus salad and the rest of the group, different pasta dishes. None left hungry or disappointed. Very friendly staff.

Ristorante le Clarisse is an old monastery with 4 hotel rooms. When my group of 8 booked the rooms we didn't realize that there were only 4 rooms! We were pleasantly surprised to find out we had the entire hotel to ourselves! The staff were so attentive, assisting us however possible. We only stayed one night, and all contemplated extending our stay because we loved it so much.

New Wine Bar, with panoramic terrace in the old town of Monte Sant'Angelo, UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011. Cantine Cippone intend to promote high-quality products and ensure professionalism, hospitality and advice to those who want to take with us
This special little winebar - a family enterprise - offers warm atmosphere in an elegant modern environment. Besides excellent local wines, typically regional dishes are really recommendable. An excellent alternative to the otherwise rather touristic gastronomic taverns in town !!!

La Rocca has an ideal location, with one whole side of the restaurant consisting of windows with expansive views out to the sea far below. The space is somewhat understated but elegant, with linen table clothes, candles, and neutral colors throughout. The menu is varied, with a lot of seafood options. Pizza is also available. The food was beautifully presented, and very, very good. The menu changes regularly based on what is seasonally available - the highlight of our visit was a fresh ravioli stuffed with mozzarella di bufala with an arugula pesto. Desserts were also very good. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended. Somewhat oddly, we couldn't find the name of the restaurant anywhere on the exterior at all, but we're glad we found this gem.

A place designed to accommodate tourists by making them taste the food in the caves of those who wrote the history of the city ... UNESCO. A special place where you eat with the live music of the best bands of the territory .... A restaurant where the foo
Wondering in Monte Sant'Angelo for a quick visit to this amazing place, during our holiday in Puglia, when, hungry as never before we decided to eat something...Italian. So, pizza it was!! And what a pizza!!!! DELICOIUS!!! The place is lovely and you will feel welcomed as soon as you step in. The amazing Pizzaiolo is Giovanni, a funny, lovely guy. Very polite. If you will ever be around Monte Samt'Angelo, please go and have a very good pizza with very great people welcoming you in a warm way, that only Italians can do.

We had our final evening meal at this restaurant before flying home. It is a small restaurant but the staff are very efficient and helpful. The food was excellent, we had the set menu which was absolutely delicious and the wine, recommended by the chef, was superb. We wished that we were staying longer so we could have another meal. Thank you to everyone for our final taste of wonderful Italy.

Unfortunately, staff doesn't speak a word of English. Very strange opening hours. Do not rely on it after 3PM. It seems restaurant was made for locals only.

Had lunch there while visiting Monte Sant'Angelo (which is a must). Amazing fresh food, impeccable service and attention, delicious home wine and overall great experience! Must try their roasted lamb! Highly recommend!

We arrived for a late lunch but they were asked to stay open for us which they did without any problem. We shared a plate of wonderful antipasto followed by two pasta dishes - one with mushrooms and one with prawns - both fantastic. All washed down with a local white wine and beer. The service was faultless and the restaurant is thoroughly recommended!

This is a really good restaurant in Gargano. The dishes are typical of the area and region. Everything is extremely fresh. The antipasto is possibly the best I've had in all of Italy. We were given a cherry liquor at the end, which was a really nice touch. Anytime I'm in this part of Puglia I will be stopping in. You cannot go wrong with the food here.
