Myself and two friends were here. We are from Ireland and we found this restaurant vey welcoming. The staff were excellent. Daniella was brilliant and the owner made sure we were welcome. The food was excellent and the value for money was great. A must visit place.

We chose this pizzeria principally because it had gluten free pizzas for one person in our group. They have a huge range of pizzas to choose from, using local specialities for cheese etc. In addition to the normal softs drinks, beers etc they also have locally brewed beer! Although a bit off the tourist trail, this traditional pizzeria has superb pizzas and superb service making for a great evening

Listed as an Enopizzeria. It is a small, rather elegant wine bar that makes its own pizzas, using a sourdough recipe from Luigi the owner's grandmother
Located in a tiny location on a side street, this place would be easy to miss. Don't. And don't ask, BEG for the tartufo, salsiccia and ficchi (cream of truffle, sausage and fig) pizza. Wow. Or really any of their pizza slices. Beautifully presented, excellent wine with just four tables, you can also take away. Very charming neighborhood place with a proud owner. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE.

Lucera is a small but beautiful town in puglia , but there are not as many pizza choices as you will expect as you are in Italy , this place is without a doubt the best pizza I have had in lucera , the place is nice and gives you the sensation to be eating in a cave , I really enjoy this place every time I go , last time I went it was closed tho , so make sure to call before you go ...

We came from Rome and were headed by rental car to Castelluccio Val just after noon. Having not eaten lunch we were a hungry family of four not knowing how long it would be to arrive at Celle di San Vito and our B&B. Zipping along SP117 in our rental car, a sign flashed past: "Restorante". Then another and "turn right". So we followed our nose and the signs and pulled into what looked like a horse stable, which it was, that has a wonderful restaurant/pizzeria attached. With threatening storms rolling in we went in hoping we'd find someone to make us a meal. What a pleasant surprise. After serving water and a glass of wine, then asking if we'd like pasta or meat (pasta) our waitress/cook disappeared. We were the only people in the place. She soon came out with antipasto of bread, cheese, olives, prosciutto, and more water. As we were finishing those tasty morsels, she came out with our pasta, perfectly done al dente, with a simple, fresh red sauce marinara, fresh cheese. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, and were really glad that they had put up signs on SP117, and we were smart enough to take the chance to stop. It was delicious, perfectly prepared simply, and a great value.Four waters, wine, and four pastas with bread and cheese cost 31 Euro. After the rain let up, we were soon back on our way zipping towards Celle di San Vito. If you're this close and are reading this review, you should read my review of the Fontanelle B&B in CdSV.

Creativity, innovation and passion
Itâs difficult to review this restaurant because itâs possible that our experience may not be typical. The place is spotlessly clean and well organized. We dined in the outside courtyard which is a very pleasant place to be. First, the service. We noticed that the waiters, including our own, interacted with the customers in a very formal and detached manner. It was as if they had been trained not to engage in any form of conversation with the clients, other than what was strictly necessary for taking orders. From our table we could also observe what was going on in the kitchen, and here also we felt we detected a less than happy working environment. That said, we found no fault in the food, which was excellent in every way. Excellent presentation, and an excellent combination of flavours. Service from the waiters was technically very good, but lacked the warmth which makes for a good dining experience. Prices were a bit above average, but the quality of the food more than made up for it, so the overall value is excellent. However on the night we were there, the overall atmosphere was not comfortable. It would be wrong to suggest the atmosphere was unfriendly, but it was lacking in friendliness or warmth.

In the evocative atmosphere of the restaurant or on roof terrace of Le Nicchie you can taste the best local dishes, in a meeting between food and design where bite the warmth and simplicity of Apulia with its flavors and its colors, chosen with care and w
Wonderful B & B has a restaurant with lovely food. Excellent way to end your day ... overlooking olive groves, enjoying the excellent cuisine and only steps away from your room. Works for me!

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with family at this restaurant. Modern but comfortable style, we were immediately greeted by the owner , Alessandro. Cordial and efficient, Alessandro recommended a mixed appetizer of fish. It was incredible...there were ten different offerings ranging from their own lox to squid cooked in tomato. The appetizer was plenty , but we had to have pasta and ordered orichetti with cacao e Pepe a regional specialty. Prefect pasta with a rich cheese taste filled us to the brim. Still we had to have coffee and cognac. What a wonderful wonderful meal.
