Reviewed By 22waghfamHad a great 3 night stay here! Pasquale was very accommodating and helped us with parking & directions. The room was comfortable and clean. Be sure to let the staff know when you are arriving so they can show you in. Overall, the location was nice (a short walk to most attractions) and the hotel has a lovely patio out back!

Reviewed By Laurie NUpon arriving at this lovely retreat, we were warmly welcomed by Susanna. The rooms are really nice and the views from the property are great. Susanna prepared a terrific breakfast and offered lots of advice on hiking in the national park nearby. If you like sleeping with the sounds of owls hooting and water running in a stream, you'll love this place!

MUCH SPACE AND TOP LOCATION
Reviewed By Exithamster1 minute walk from Florence Central Station I got a very nice and big room with a queen size bed. The bathroom was a bit small and the water pressure not breathtaking but that was no big issue. There is a supermarket just around the corner. You need to walk steep stairs up to reach your room. This is more or less an apartment building with a couple of flats changed into a guesthouse. No reception but a phone contact. There is a kitchen in the first floor where you can store your foods and prepare small bites. Really enjoyed the stay and would book the Stella Della Casa again. ...last but not least: In the room was the best wifi experienced for a long time!

Oasis of Tuscan authenticity
Reviewed By it-TreA local friend took us there for lunch: the endroit is a charming view over part of the valley comprising the farm, peaceful and beautiful. The staff are friendly and the food divine: we had one of the best Bistecca Fiorentina of our stay.

The bathroom was well appointed, and we took full advantage of the washing machine (with some help from our host! Bless you Francesco!). The bedroom was small, but also convenient, quiet and secure for our stay. Yes! The stairs were a challenge, but who doesn't need a little exercise after days on end of pizza and gelato?! Besides the wonderful property, our host really made this stay for us, directing us to a nearby market, and arranging a taxi for our departure. Would highly recommend Bargello! Bravisimo!!

Reviewed By Voyage402254This was one of our best experiences ever. The place is extremely nice, designed and run in a very good taste. The owners/hosts are very kind and caring. He prepares and makes the breakfast and your coffee every morning how you like it. Makes you feel really welcome at his place. It is really clean, cleaning is done every day and you come back to a cleaned and tidied room after your day activities/trips. Cleanliness is very important to us and we were extremely satisfied all the time. They pay attention to the slightest details and this contributes to the overall experience big time. Thank you for the amazing stay, highly recommended and we would return any time without hesitation!

Reviewed By irinatokareva4A good hotel rights in a city center. The workers here are very friendly and ready to help. Osteria downstairs is one of the best places to have lunch or dinner. In this hotel, you will have a private room with a bathroom (hairdryer included) and a lovely public space with dinning area and check-in desk. Wifi works good.

The farmhouse sits at 900 metres of altitude, easily reachable from the A1 Motorway between Bologna and Florence (exit Pian del Voglio). The rooms have been recently renovated with a typical, rustic, Tuscan atmosphere. The restaurant was once a barn and has also been renovated, keeping the old charme. We are open from wednesday to saturday (booking suggested). Our restaurant offers an a-la-carte menu during the whole week, we're closed on tuesday officially, but you should inquire as we might be open upon reservation. Suggested dishes are: tortelli mugellani, ravioli with ricotta and spinach, our Cinta Senese pork, game from our estate or florentine steak.

Good menu with several options. We ate a fantastic dinner and lunch. Staff very accommodating and friendly. This is a place to return to.

Podere Vigliano is located in the heart of Chianti region just few kilometers from the historical cities of Siena and Florence. Built in the first years of 1800 today offer charming holidays homes equipped with all kind of comforts ( fully equipped kitchen, sat TV, airconditioninig,barbecue). On exteriors are available many common areas for our guests like the panoramic terrace that offer a terrific vista of the hills great to relax with a glass of the excellent local wine. A supermarket and the town center are 700 mt far away from Podere

From the first moment we felt very welcome, we were warmly greeted by Niccolò, the fantastic genius loci who was always available in person or over WhatsApp. If we needed something or had questions he responded immediately and also gave us restaurant recommendations. The podere is very well located, you can reach all the important sights like Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Greve a.s.o. really comfortable and two absolutely great advantages are that 1) a supermarket is within 3 minutes by car, 15 minutes by foot and 2) there is no long an winding dirt road like to other Tuscan accommodations I have been to. Our apartment was huge with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large kitchen and a gigantic living room. Once we even had a pasta course with the one and only Antonella in the kitchen which was really a fantastic experience. We also had our own big garden with table, chairs and even a barbecue. Absolutely great!! Thank you Niccolò and the others from the staff, we’ll be back!! Tanti saluti from Mona-Lisa & Co
