We passed this restaurant every time we left our Agriturismo in Gigliola, but we ate here only once. The terrace has a breathtaking view of the vineyards in the area and the atmosphere inside is cozy.The menu offers an excellent deal that we took. The antipasti are delicious and the grilled meat that was the next course exceeded our expectations. You also get some drinks included in the price!The service was friendly and professional. We should have eaten here more often. Maybe we will be back next year!

We found this place more by coincidence. Although at the first glance it looked only like a street Restaurant we were really happy with the Pizza and the streetlife around.

We are staying nearby, and after days of choosing the best restaurants, we just wanted a simple, no nonsense meal. This place is attached to a hotel, and next door to a local sports facility (for kids), and so has a big free parking lot. The food was generous and tasty. Definitely not gourmet level, just decent everyday stuff, pleasantly served, and cheap. Copiers was 1e p.p., 500 ml water the same. I think my monstrous big calzone was 6or 8, etc.Don't pick this tonight if you want the fanciest meal in Tuscany. If you just want a decent, simple meal, you won't be disappointed.

Visited twice, lunch and evening meal with a group of around 10-12 on both occasions. They don't serve pizzas at lunch but the pasta was great. Pizzas in the evening were excellent - the normal size being plenty for most appetites. Overall, good food good service, nice location in the town piazza.

When in Montespertoli or surroundings I strongly recommend to come to L´Ficco Lesso, the pizzas are remarkably good, also the big ensalatoni, salad plates. The house red wine is excellent.If you have a good bite, order the appetizer called "CCS" they are local made fried buns of Tuscan bread with Prosciutto ham and a burrata sort of the middle stage between butter and cheese creamy spread....you will love it and come back for more.You have inside siting area, very cosy and also and outside more relaxed but cold in winter.Prices are great, I mean cheap, believe me. Pizza size are something around 40 cm radius so go there in hunger... They open everyday starting at 7 pm.

I ordered the fish and he ordered a pizza. Both were amazing!!!! The fish was fresh and bones removed. The pizza was good as recommended. The staff were so amazing... maybe some of the best since our week in Italy!! They had English menus and the staff (you could tell) loved to practice their English! But itâs still such an authentic Italian place. It was a nice restaurant but still great prices. I would come here again with no doubt!!! I wish we were staying longer in the area so we could return. If you have trouble with gps leading you here... explore the area and find it! Ours didnât lead us here but we found it with fairly no problem. Itâs a fantastic place!!! Youâll love it.

OK, I usually do not gush in my reviews as some may know, but I am considering moving to Montespertoli so I can eat their little bread bits (schiaccate?) every morning. Line ups out the door, seeming chaos perfectly well managed by two young women behinf the counter, and a third person turning out bread and pizze from a wood-fired oven right there. The pizza (sold by weight, to go) are also amazing although if you want one in the morning it is a bit hit and miss unless you tell them ahead of time. They also sell salumi and cheeses and will most likely make you a sandwich, and they sell cheap bag-in-box wine by the glass. What more could you want!?

We came on a state holiday on a Wednesday evening. Note they do not open until 700pm for supper. They are nestled between two roadways with a big parking lots, so while there is outdoor seating we chose to sit outside. Inside is traditional Italian decore. Comfortable, friendly. Very clean and welcoming. Donât base opinions on the outside. Our first server was very open that she did not speak English. She sent over Francesco (hope I got his name right) who spoke great English and did his best to explain everything. The menu is huge, and my pocket translation book could not keep up with all the interesting and diverse choices. There must be 20 pizzas or more, plus the usual pastas, meats etc., but some have really interesting mixtures of ingredients. It actually takes a long time to figure them out. Each table is given glasses of proseco and orange juice to help you choose! We shared a salad and a pizza and each portion was definitely big enough. Without asking the kitchen split our orders onto separate plates which was nice. Our companions did the same but added a spaghetti dish too. No one left hungry. By the time we left, the place had filled with primarily locals, and there was a fun, busy vibe. The owner was quite friendly too and wanted to make sure there was no problem. A nice meal.Grazie!

This place is located off the beaten path, in a valley at a high end equestrian stables. There is ample parking in the front and rear, as well as access to the restaurant from both locations. Walking in there are plenty of friendly horses with their heads sticking out of their stables for both the adults and children to enjoy. There is an enormous amount of outdoor and indoor seating with lots of staff (good service), but you should call ahead for a reservation. They are very child friendly here. The restaurant is very modern. They have a nice wine list, and they even have a large selection of beers on tap. We have been there a number of times, both for pizza and for fish. The pizzas are outstanding. Their dough is made of a freshly milled organic local flour and their ingredients are the freshest possible. We have tried quite a variety of their pizzas and all were excellent. On one trip, the crust was quite salty, but every other trip was excellent. Do not discount their fish menu, their fish is also excellent!!! They make amazing desserts, save room!
