We have been here on 3 occasions over the last 2wks of are stay, we both love it warm welcome from the hosts! Layout is so different from all the other restaurants around with its German thyme. Everything to us even the starters were large! So be aware before you order. Great menu and beers to choice from.

Recommended (justifiably) by the hotel we were staying at, not that busy on a weekday evening so we were able to sit outside and watch the world go buy.Lovely meal, for me the highlight was a fabulous Bisteca Fiorentina, cooked to perfection once I'd persuaded the waiter that not all Brits want their steak well done.Good service, didn't feel rushed, reasonably priced.

We stopped into this great restaurant without a reservation on our way to do some ceramic shopping. We spent several hours here enjoying the multiple plates of fish, pasta and steak for lunch as well as some great red wine.Every thing they served was amazing and the service was equally as great! We were trying to find a particular store and one of the waiters went down the street to find someone who spoke good English for us and we eventually found our destination thanks to their assistance. After all of the food we ate, I still felt hungry and the food was cooked so perfectly.

Everything was delicious from starters to desserts, passing by the wine; we had a quiet corner on the porch outside, on what was the old stables of the building: very suggestive! Staff was utterly professional and price reasonable. I surely recommend this place to anyone willing to have a true Tuscan meal! :)

"Le scuderie de l'Antinoro" are a magic area. Out of time but very near to main roads. Twenty minutes from Florence, thirtyfive minutes from Pisa. An accurate restoration of a building edificated in 1860 for the horses of the King of italy in the short pe
I've eaten here a few times and for a casual restaurant their dishes are 5-star quality! The pizza is excellent and the pasta/meat/seafood dishes are truly gourmet cuisine. Their ingredients are fresh and the chef has a creative flair that shows through. The service is impeccable, their waiters are professional and friendly. The reason I give them 4 stars and not 5 is the ambience. This restaurant is located in I believe what was once the horse stables of a large estate of one of the area's ancient noble families. The main dining room is expansive with high ceilings. Although well furnished and pleasant I feel it's a bit cold and impersonal. The lighting should be warmer, perhaps some candles on the table, some nice jazz music in the background could make the atmosphere more intimate. There is a smaller adjacent dining room for those ordering full meals (not pizza) and it's much cozier. There's a fireplace in this room with a couch in front and is the perfect dining experience for chilly evenings. The restaurant also has other rooms and outdoor spaces where they host banquets, weddings and other events. All in all, highly recommendable for the excellent food!

This is a lovely restaurant with very friendly helpful service. It is very classic with arched brick ceilings and whitewashed walls, the ingredients on view as you enter. The menu choice is not huge but it covers a range of dishes. The food was tasty, plentiful and at a reasonable price. It seems popular with the locals.

Visited last night about 21.00, staff very friendly and accepted our limited Italian vocabulary and were extremely attentive. Our waiter was very helpful explaining all of the menu to us. Starter, wild boar & porcini ragu pappardelle (shared). Main, t bone steak (1.2 kg) fries & zuccini & aubergine, this was 'ottimo' ! Not to mention very filling (shared). Desert/pallet cleanser, a glass of limoncello and mint over crushed ice, amazing fresh drink. As it was getting cooler the waiter brought over a shawl for my partner to put on, very nice touch. With soft drinks, water & coffees 'il conto' was 81 euros, bearing in mind that the 1.2 kg steak was 48 this was very good value for money. Many thanks to all the staff for a very memorable evening.

Lovely family run, country-style restaurant. The huge steak, shared amongst the three of us was one of the best I have ever had. Great ambiance, eccentric host and memorable food.
