Padellina is the perfect place to enjoy the local cuisine with the locals. There is no pretension, just excellent food and service. The daily specials, which often include local game, are delicious, and quite unique to the region. Prices are a bargain considering the amount of food you are served. Visit with an appetite!

You are given a warm welcome by the owner as soon as you walk in the door, and the staff maintains his high standard of service throughout your visit. The menu hits all the high notes of classic Tuscan cuisine, but don't miss the Cinta Senese and Cioncia. Cinghiale (wild boar) was in season during our visit, and was absolutely delicious. This is not a touristy restaurant, so you get to eat authentic food with locals who are friendly and welcoming.Had to laugh at another reviewer who said the "problem" was that everyone spoke Italian and the menus were in Italian. What did that idiot expect, she was in Italy! If an Italian family came to a restaurant in her hometown, would they have menus in that language, and Italian-speaking staff?

Our day off is monday . we are open at lunch on Saturday and Sunday from 12.30 until 14 oclock pm at dinner from tuesday until sunday from 7.15pm until 10oclockpm
Good atmosphere, fine starters and wine, pasta for the vegetarians and a standing rib roast that almost converted those party-poopers to the carniverous life. Marco and his staff speak impeccable English and advise the guests about what size standing rib roast is right. Then the meat comes to the table, perfectly seasoned and grilledn on a litle brazier to keep it warm. This is the authentic bistecca alla fiorentina, not the nonsense in silly portions that the tourists have. Make sure to leave a little room for the sides (you order them separately) and lots for the desert. Many many thanks for yr beautiful review!Marco and Silvia

We had an opportunity to stop by for a dinner and ended up getting a great memory as well. We stopped by around 7 on the way back from Lucca. We started with the normal round of wine. Arron made some great recommendations and we had a huge platter for he first course..to say it was amazing is an understatement. It was served on a three tiered platter. I will work to add some photos because it will make the point! We then had the other recomendations he had made and were not disappointed. I don't want to spoil the surprise but if you get the steaks (4 fingers worth) get your camera out when it is delivered. If you are in the area I would try and make it a point to stop in and enjoy this quaint restaurant.

An attentive and careful restoration work has transformed the village into an elegant restaurant with great attention to detail. With Florentine hospitality and thanks to the kitchen chef driven directly by Libero and sons Lorenzo and Matteo, the Albergac
Our tour group had a cooking class, wine tasting & lunch here. Fantastico! Chefs Liberio, Olga & Elisabetta were amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable. Our group luncheon where our creations were served was belissima. Tons of fun under the Tuscan sun in the Chianti region.Thank you so much!

It was a wonderful experience to goto Dispensa and have lunch with tradition Tuscan specialities! Itâs high quality products and varieties and the Andrea Parrini the owner is a great, very simpatic and give you a warm welcome ! He can explain you all the varieties of Tuscan cheeses, hams and wines and itâs a good value for money... I was very happy to be there and I bought some bottles of Chianti wine according to Andrea Parrini recommendation. itâs a very agreable and intimist place in the heart of the Chianti ,Tuscany, I love this paese ! Grazie Andrea! Caro Amico!

Montebuoni The restaurant is a quiet corner in the hills around Florence that 'primarily' kidnapped some years ago Emilio Marchitti, chef established by a career of over 35 years, almost all spent in Tuscany at the best hotels and restaurants in Florence
A few kilometers outside Florence, this restaurant doesn't attract as many tourists as the ones in the city. The result is that the food is more refined, not mass-produced and made with attention to detail. Also the chef is not only in the kitchen but in the restaurant as well. He even came to meet us and shake hands when we arrived at the restaurant. We asked the chef about a dish on the menu but ordered something else. He then gave us a small plate to taste the dish we asked him about. Our main courses (fish) were delicious, generous, well cooked and full of flavor. After desert we asked for the bill, which was very reasonable for the meal and wine we had.

"Traditional Tuscan cuisine, wholesome dishes and ingredients from our land. Founded and managed by our family from four generations, we follow a philosophy of quality and tradition." Housed in a farmhouse from the '500, I Tre Pini is located in the encha
Amazing. I dined here as part of a Gate 1 tour. The food was amazing and all you could eat. It started out with an anti pasta bar and ended with a plate of meat including beff, pork, chicken and sausage that was some of the best meat I have eaten. The wine was free flowing. I am not a wine drinker but the blue sparking wine, the strawberry wine and the grapefruit wine was great. Six family members who were traveling with me loved the red and white wines served. The singers were good. This was an optional dinner on the tour and I am very glad we decided to do it. Would do it again.

This restaurant is a local favourite with wholesome, simplistic Tuscan cuisine that may be a bit too simplistic for foreign visitors. The decor is minimalistic, the service attentive (though we were the only customers that evening). The food is slightly different from what we expect from Italian cuisine, in the sense of being toned down in its flavours. But if you are in the neighbourhood, you cannot go wrong in choosing this venue. Had the grilled aubergine, taglitel with mushroom, which was hearty if not gourmet.
