Watch when you go there because it is not an easy road and the location is not nice but once inside it is a very good place to shop for local and other Italian products. Bar (and barman( are great. Good service and coffee.

Apart from the classical pizzas here you can find some local specialities (like the Albeisa with "carne cruda" or the Langarola) and always something new and seasonal like the delicious pizza with peperoni and bagna caoda sauce that I've just had! The Burrata is my all-time temptation!

A pizza or a pasta, doesn't make a difference. For a very acceptable price you can and drink in this pizzeria. The pizza are made instantly at location. The owners are very friendly and helpful, serving in English is not a problem at all. It is not hard to find it on the national way from Dogliani to Monchiero.

We were in the Alba region for the truffle season. On the way home, we stopped in this restaurant for lunch. The restaurant is a charming place with great family appeal. The staff was very friendly (especially the owner) and helpful. Both the food and open with were very good but for me that was not the highlight. I have eaten French Fries all over the world and normally I would not write about French Fries. However, These French Fries were out of this world. They were incredibly light, and not at all oily. Crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. I have eaten im many Michelin star restaurants and ALL of them should learn how to make French Fries from La Soffitta. I thank the chef for a wonderful experience.

In a busy Sunday, we booked this restaurant where we have been more than 2 years ago. We were afraid about the possibility to spend a lot of time while having lunch. What a surprise: even if fully booked, service was quick and without mistakes. Food was good, right priced. I was surprised that the menù was more fish oriented than meat based, as I was looking for in a hilly restaurant. Anyway, big quantities, fresh tasted, from starters (raw meat, strawsberry salad), pasta (gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese or fish salad) and main dish (fritto misto). Lovely dessert to end the lunch.I'd suggest a visit to this restaurant to all the readers; as well as I'm suggesting to put more local based meal in the menù to the owner.

We use to come to Rosso Pomodoro with other families with kids be ause they have a nice play room where kids can play and have fun while parents can enjoy a good pizza, a nice pasta dish and have a chat. The place is really very nice, with lots of light coming from the glass ceiling and with a wonderful double oven in the center. Pizza is very good and pasta also.

Cena con amici nel suggestivo, grande e attrezzato dehors dove abbiamo gustato pizze di ottima qualità , dall'impasto soffice, leggero e delicato. Vasta scelta di dolci anche, il personale molto attento, cortese e disponibile. Prezzi assolutamente convenienti.

We had a very Nice dinner. Only one remark The differant dished Came to fast one after The other. Very friendly staff. Plenty off local people visit The restaurant. That indicaties for us that is good local food. We recommand it for a fadt and very Hood dinner.
