Very unprepossing little roadside bar/restaurant served fantastic fresh tasty local food. My ravioli with black truffle was unbelievable: the ravioli was served and then mountains of fresh black truffle was grated onto it at the table. A simple salad tasted as if it had all been plucked from the garden 10â previously. Yum!

La Cantina Wine Bar is a family run business situated between Verduno and La Morra. It has a large terrace with a scenic view. La Cantina serves Breakfast, Lunch, Gelato, Aperitifs, Wine and Coffee.
We've been coming to Verduno for years and have watched this bar evolve into a great little cantina. Family friendly, bilingual and great selection of local wines. They have recently introduced a menu and while we didn't have lunch here, we did come for drinks and were able to sample some of what they have. And even with the food and the wine, its still an outstanding bar for the best espresso in the area!!!

Struttura con cucina tradizionale, accogliente e tranquilla immarsa nei vigneti, si gode una vista sublime su tutta la langa
We where for dinner, there is one menu and several starters and main courses a discretion. The starters and risotto is very good. The pasta was ok but not spectacular. The mains are good but at least not our tast.

Since March 2017, 4 double rooms in b&b accomodation. Every room has private bathroom, air conditioning, private terrace, free Wi-Fi.Private parking is available inside the structure yard.
We had an absolutely delicious lunch here. The view of 'Le Langhe" is amazing from their patio. The food was excellent as was the service. An excellent place for lunch & most probably dinner but the view is amazing as was the food. The location of La Locanda makes the rooms perfect. I believe they have only 4 rooms, but not certain as we did not check them out.

I went with 2 friends and had an excelleng lunch. We were over half an hour late as we had been wine tasting next door but they were very understanding when we pitched up. We also brought along 3 bottles of wine from next door which they didn't mind. The setting was lovely and the view out of the window very pretty. The service was also very good. I was very envious of my friend's main course which was the lamb on a hot plate.

Different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences make this Osteria a crossover of tastes and languages. Our shared passion for food and the desire to make a meal at Osteria Veglio special for each one of our guests determines our concept. We believe in th
This is our favourite place in La Morra. It is located in the small hamlet of Annunziata, in the midst of the vineyards, with a terrace providing a beautiful view. The restaurant is run by two young couples and food is always awesome! Wine list is getting better and better - that takes time, but already you are spoilt for choice. Among our favourites here are giardiniera, agnolotto (fantastic!), filled zucchini flower, capretto and affogato. Also very good seafood!

just in the center of Barolo valley, this restaurant is a little pearl both for food and wine and the lovely location. Menù is excellent ( try the Pancetta roasted) and wine superb. Correct the prices. Booking is a must.

The Bovio family, one of the oldest families of restaurateurs in Piedmont, already managers of the well-known Ristorante Belvedere of La Morra for more than 40years, has now moved to a new place, in a panoramic position among the vineyards of Barolo. Ales
Ah the Langhe... Vineyards vineyards hill after hill, what a landscape! We stopped for coffee at historic Caffe' Converso in Bra (recommended), visited the quirky Wine Museum in Barolo and ended with a visit to the castle of Govone, not very well maintained but quite atmospheric. For dinner the choice went for Ristorante Bovio at La Morra, reportedly one of the most prestigious in the area. It was a good dinner though perhaps not the best. A and I went for mushroom risotto which was good but not memorable; R seemed happy with his eel with red onions and Piccola liked her tajarin with sausage. Following that, A and Piccola had a good tagliata, R was again happy with his rabbit with peppers whilst my fried mushrooms were OK but not more. Dolcetto was excellent. The dining room was beautiful but got very noisy and the bill came quite pricey.

I got the impression that this restaurant has high ambitions and to serve really nice gourmet food. I do not think they meet this level. The best I had was the grilled meat, the rest was unfortunately a disappointment.
