Pizzeria storica di bv, se la cava anche bene col giro pizza, portandole deliziose, non pesanti, non crude. Per finire in bellezza con la Nutella! Prezzi modici. Sempre approvato!

The hotel is just 5 minutes away from the A6 motorway mid-way between Turin and Savona. There are roman ruins to be seen in the village centre beautiful Cuneo and Mondovi are just 20-30 minutes away. 20 minutes away is the vast shopping and factory outlets of Mondevicino. From the outside, the hotel is bordering on ugly and probably what only saves it are the stark industrial units that line the opposite side of the road. There is plentifu lparking outside the hotel, but there is the possability of secure parking in the underground carpark. However look are only skin deep. and inside the hotel is quite pleasant and some of the upper room enjoy rather nice views of the surrounding farmland. The staff I met were all charming and very helpful. I arrived on a Monday evening and unfortunately the pizzeria does not open on Mondays. As I was tired, I took the easy but costlier choice of staying put and eating from the Hotel Restaurant menu.I took advantage of the 25euro menu, which included 2 starters, I has Veal with Tuna sauce and a sort of spinach mousse with a cheese sauce. There followed a local type od small raviolli in broth. My main course was braised beef with carrots. I "upgraded" from a dessert to a generous selection of cheeses. The 25 Euros also included a glass of Dolcetto and coffee. The food was very competently cooked and very tasty, service was friendly. Unfortunately a large stark room with only 4 customers and a TV showing a popular evening Itallian tv show can never be enhanced into a fully enjoyable experience. The room was quite large with a big wardrobe and a decent bathroom. The free wifi , aircon, tv and fridge all worked well and made my stay enjoyable. The only real downside was the breakfast was not even close to good.Once again that huge stark room kills almost any posablity of privacy or an atmosphere, but a selection of tasteless "juices" and a platter of very tired looking ham and cheese with last nights left over bread stand no chance of making you want to stay another night. To be absolutely fair, there were some ok corneti, youghurts, jams and cereals and fruit to be had as well, but for me, Hotel breakfasts are great when they tempt you into having something nice that you probably do not always have at home.In summary, the Hotel is cheaply priced, but the rooms and the restaurant are actually very good value, whilst the breakfast remains as ... cheap.

Casa Baladin is a truly"atipical" beer restaurant with rooms. It is located in the central square of Piozzo, a small village situated in front of Langhe hills. The warm hospitality immediately welcomes those who decide to stay for the evening for a "beer
Had an outstanding dinner here last evening. What a change. Beer instead of wine with each course. We had the tasting menu. Everything was outstanding & a different beer served with each course, including a beer with dessert. The dessert beer tasted very similar to a Passito. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a change of pace for Piedmont.Thank you very much!Buona birra!!

You really can't miss this local treasure...outside of it's quaint, cosy and welcoming atmosphere, the fireplace really made it romantic. But the small dining room (another larger room was on the other side of the fireplace) was great for friends and family as well. Our host went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we could dine there that evening and the friendly service was delightful, not intrusive and also informative. We tasted an array of local dishes, all of which were excellent. I personally love when the menu is non-existent...the chef-owners pride themselves on making the experience a mini-vacation, no thinking or having to choose between two dishes...you just try it all and when you're full you throw in the towel. Easy, pure enjoyment. The menu changes every week and you can base your personal menu on how hungry you are, but I advise that you come hungry. The desserts were presented all fresh on a cart and each person chose several different items to try. The room by the end of the night became like a large family, some tables talking to the next and others not as each group more or less ate the same course together. Here you will have an authentic, delicious introduction to the best of the Piemontese kitchen and don't forget the world class wines that Piemonte is famous for!BENE, molto bene.

La compagnia è stata ottima, ma il locale ha qualche miglioria da fare: non ha ventilatori né condizionatori, un solo seggiolino per bambini, il menù molto invernale anche in estate... Si può fare di più..

Restaurant renovated with stones and bricks, rustic and refined setting, large outdoor area with views of the Langhe, the countryside and mountains on the horizon. Elegant both traditional dishes and innovative, completely homemade.
I strongly recommend this country restaurant for its "wild but manicured" atmosphere. You have to manage some not so easy roads to reach it, but the kind welcome of the owner will recompense you. Must order "TAJARIN 30 UOVA", a special recipee from Langhe territory (it means thin fettuccini - pasta made by 3O EGGS!). Wine is simply luxurious in Piedmont. All fresh components of dishes come from the near country. During WE you'll have guitar entertainment, and you can join to the singer, if you love old italian songs! The upstair "locanda" can offer some two simple and clean rooms, freshly refurbished: your country peaceful corner is ready!
