We fell into a very ordinary pub, Nick Pub, to ask directions to a local restaurant. The owner was not keen we should go there as he felt we could do better. Failing to make us understand his directions to La Figlia di Annibale he promptly left the pub, jumped in his car and drove us there! Our quite exceptional evening began there. The restaurant is trendily white throughout, and in December was cosily warm, as was the welcome to two un-booked strays. The seasonal menu majors on fish as fresh as 100 metres from the sea it should be. Three courses are offered for the most reasonable sum of â¬27.00. Water free and a bottle of excellent local white at â¬12.00 and with a cover charge came to â¬75.00 Brilliant value as the food was delicious and the service friendly, attentive and thoroughly professional. No wonder the restaurant filled up as we ate.

We offer a traditional cuisine offering seasonal and always fresh raw materials in a modern and well-kept environment where you are served professionally.
We experienced really nice and delicious 5 course meal in Cinquesensi. Firsty the staff really impressed me with their kindness and professionalism. We ordered a seafood manu and everything on the plates was delicious! Seabass swordfish, tunafish etc. in different sauces ;) If we come back to Crotone we are visiting again. Keep up the great work ;)

The restaurant also has rooms and it's already listed in tripavisor as Agriturismo Dattilo, but the restaurant (which is quite famous) is not listed, so I can't leave a comment for the restaurant only.
Two meals in this romantic setting (eaten on the elevated terrace) are up there with some of our best meals we've ever eaten in southern Italy or Sicily. It deserves its Michelin star - delicious, inventive dishes, artistic presentations, perfect service. One can order alla carte or choose one of the two fixed prize menus. The only disappointment was the dessert the first night--dollops of bread, fig and chocolate sauce drizzles (2nd night's was better served as part of my husband's fixed price menu). Dessert is really unnecessary because at the end of the meal a complimentary plate of small dolci is complimentary.

We came here after seeing the fabulous reviews, and we were not disappointed. The owner was welcoming and friendly and helped with the language barrier to assist us ordering food.We had two seafood linguine, packed with seafood and tasty in a garlic and white wine sauce. The calamari melted in your mouth, cooked to perfection, for me to say that is huge as I cook from fresh daily at home.Very welcoming place,we came for a drink at lunch, missed lunch as walked around old town so came back for dinner. The owner has a gem of a place here, made fantastic by his humour and polite staff. We cannot wait to come back, as soon as he teased me about my Italian and spoke English and said be used to live in Knightsbridge we became friends.Fabulous place we will be back Neisha & Adrian Shrimpton

It's a small restaurant not far from the port, in vico Orfeo, behind an anonimous door!when you find it, sit in the small room and be ready to taste original calabrese food.Start with "Sardedda", spicy hot sauce on slices of country bread, shrimps, octopuses salad, "frittule" and cruditées. If you are still hungry try the risotto with sea food. Fish is fresh and well prepared. Final surprise, a fantastic home made cake and a free bitter!good quality and best price.

Of course you can enjoy this restaurant in the wintertime, but there is a lovely garden in this restaurant where the summer evenings will let you enjoy the seafood, just while thinking of what to order. This preliminary affair will get you in trouble, for sure, as the list will talk to you about things "you people wouldn't believe" (Blade Runner, 1982). Don't panic, the chefs will be happy to help you make your choice (and recommend the right wine). Then the paradise will begin, allowing yourself a time of sumptuous indulgence: let serenity pervade your thoughts and feel your senses pampered by flavours and taste of the Mediterranean Sea.Whichever dish you'll choose will be delicious, you will enjoy such a delightful experience in that garden and feel transported to another dimension: an inspiring stroll among gentle waves of blue deep and stars and scent of sea, you will begin an awesome journey in search of cherished memories in the sand by the shore. Time will go by, mildly and tenderly, and the bill will wake you up. But for once you won't really regret the treat and will smile, happy, to the very nice staff.

...that keeps it good and simple. You can only order two things. A portion of tomato and cheese pizza, or a fried calzone with sauce and cheese. Both come out continuously to feed the lineup. Make sure you take a number on the way in.The calzone will be super hot, a little spicy, and may sqirt all over your shirt if you aren't careful. The pizza has a milder sauce and the base cracks in your teeth in the best possible way. One euro for each. The drinks list is much longer. The rating on Tripadvisor and the stickers from food award recognitions in the glass counter case were more than confirmed on my visit.
