We ate here twice during our stay. It was close to the park where the kids could play in the evening waiting for the restaurants to really get going. The food has a Mexican twist. The staff were really friendly and we could get by on our three phrases of Spanish as their English was good. The proprietor gave gifts for our youngest child on both visits and ensured they were entertained while waiting for our order. It was nice to be able to sit outside as the evening progressed into night.Muchas gracias

This is my home town, and every time I go back we have to stop here for lunch. It is on the road and the decor is very ordinary but the food is excellent. Real andalousian food, good friendly service and cheap. It is conveniently located on the road, so it makes a great stop over if you are on your way to Cordoba. Their âsalmorejoâ is really good. I definitely recommend this place.

The owner was not aware of being in a travel guide and of course was very happy for this. We had very good typical spanish lauch with tapas and canas. The restaurant offers what they actually have on that day and everything is good and fresh, in a familiar style. Very good.

3 friends on a road trip from Seville to Madrid. We stopped by for a meal and Iâm happy we did it.We had excellent sandwiches (bocadillos) as main meal and I tried a fantastic Jamon Serrano and Patatas Bravas as starters. It is worthwhile to get out of the highway to get this meal, the food is a lot better than the one you get along the road, cheaper and tastes like home made.

Paramos a almorzar en este bar, animados por las opiniones de TA y no nos defraudo.Raciones abundantes a un precio más que asequible, platos bastantes básicos pero bien cocinados. El servicio fue atento y rápido.Un acierto.

Visited with a group of friends, all of us with limited Spanish. The fellow here was hugely patient and went to great lengths to help us. The food was of a very high quality and was plentiful. The cost v quality is spectacular. We felt that we had a genuine taste of real Spain. We could not recommend the Belsay highly enough.

They say never judge a book by its cover, well this goes for the restaurant Sol Zapatilla as well. We visited this restaurant because of its good reviews but when we walked into the dated dining room we weren't sure if we had made a mistake. Anyway, looks were deceiving - the food and service was incredible!! We were given a tosta with duck "jamon" on the house to start. Then we had a delicious mushroom salad and slow cooked (read super tender) veal stew in a rich sauce. Delicious. The waiter (owner) was very knowledgable of the food and checked that everything was OK as we were eating ( which is a first in my 6 years living in Spain)!! The dessert was a homemade lemon yogurt/mousse. It was really hot out when we left so the owner insisted on giving us a lift back to our car. Great meal, excellent service and kind owner. Highly recommend !! thank you for your comment! I hope seeing you soon
