Located in the heart of Ballina, we offer a huge selection of delicious meals to suit all the family.
This is one of those places that your grandma would take you for lunch. Nothing hoity toity on the menu, just plain good food and fantastic staff. The menu has daily specials and a daily offered dessert on a black board in the corner. I opted for the tuna sandwich on toasted bread and it was nicely packed and flavorful, and served with salted crisps. Then, opted for the pecan caramel brownie with soft serve vanilla ice cream for the dessert. Both were spot on flavor wise, portion wise, and while not "fancy" it was reasonable priced and good value. Would go back again for sure!

The Post House, Ballina is PASSIONATE about food- serving the finest breakfasts, lunches and homemade baked goods In Mayo!!! It is a Family run business with a cosy and friendly atmosphere!!
Visited ThePost for a midday snack and I can genuinely say that it was ideal for our light meal. The 'man of the house' was most friendly and offered us lots of information about Ballina. Our food was very well presented and tasty. As cafes go The Post not expensive and has a good midday menu

Very cozy, place with nice decor. I was herelast week and I had a Plain Waffles /no bacon,no fruits/, only maple syrup, and a herb tea.Waffles were hot, made to order and as delicateas it should be. The reason is why I only gave three stars is because I didn't pay the correct amount. On the menu the waffles with syrup only 4.70 anda herbal tea 2.30 , total: 7 euros and I paid 8,80 euros.I didn't get the receipt .Hi.Thank you so much for your review. We are so sorry you were charged the wrong price. We have spotted what the problem was ie. You were charged the Waffle price from the Desert Menu which includesCream or Ice Cream, so it is a little dearer. 1.80e to be specific. So as a way of saying sorry and meaning it we would like you to come in again if that's possible for you and we will treat you to the Waffles and Herbal Tea on the house.Regards.The Coffee Vine.

Jack Fenn's Courtyard Cafe is Ballina's new foodie destination situated in the courtyard at Belleek Castle. The cafe itself is housed in the former 1820's stables & coach house at Belleek Castle. The exterior brickwork & character has been restored and th
Popped in for the first time during the week, ludicrous when we live nearby. I was pleasantly surprised how utterly charming it is, a mix of old and new decor wise and a menu of complete deliciousness. Looking at the menu of locally sourced ingredients, I was half sorry I had eaten my lunch! Anyway...myself and my daughter decided on tea, hot chocolate and chocolate cake to share. It was divine, the cake warm, moist and sooo chocolatey without being dense and heavy. Tasty coffee and my little girl loved the hot chocolate which theyâd kindly made (without me asking) to a cooler temp for her and a good sprinkle of marshmallows. The food coming out to tables looked and smelled delicious. It wasnât expensive especially when you think of the pain it is parking in town, parking tickets, dragging kids into the high street chains of coffee places. Where, to be fair, is packet food, over priced coffee and really you could be anywhere. Jack Fenn is gorgeous on a rainy afternoon, walks in the woods nearby on the better days and my daughter loved it. Now to bring the whole tribe for a test As an aside, the staff were lovely getting bits for me to feed the baby without any fuss. Which is lovely when juggling the younger kiddies

Really nice food, very tasty, great service. Would highly recommend for lunch/breakfast. This is a casual coffee shop café but the food is very good. The premises might a little bit of a clean up as it can appear a little untidy but the food and service is excellent, very homemade and very reasonable place to eat in Ballina on a Saturday.
