We have eaten here a few times and it never fails to offer delicious tasting food with fantastic attentive service. We tried the new dishes added to the menu both chicken, sorry I can't remember the names but they are numbers 35 & 36 on the restaurant menu, well worth trying. If you are visiting or living in the surrounding areas then it is well worth visiting.

A nice restaurant for authentic Indian food. Staff were very friendly and polite, and it was clear that they had regular locals who came in for takeouts and eating in too. The restaurant was clean and we were served quite quickly. I had the saag paneer and my friend had a madras which they asked for it to be made spicier, which they did. The price of my dish however was a little expensive considering it was only £2.50 as a side and I was charged £11.95 because I asked for it as a main. On later examination of their online menu I noticed that it was under the vegetarian menu for £8.95 so I'm not sure why I was overcharged here. It could perhaps be because I asked for the paneer to be cubed not minced. The dish however was very tasty and sides were very nice also. The food appeared to be cooked from scratch. For example My saag was not from a tin. There was ample parking right outside the restaurant too but I can imagine it would get busy at the weekend.Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review of Spiced Barna, and we appreicate your kind words regarding our staff and cuisine. We are very sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with the price of your main. Unfortunately there was a small misunderstanding, and we apologise for the lack of clarity regarding our pricing- when you ordered this main as vegetarian, it deviated from our set menu, so we priced it on the spot; and furthermore, our online price for these dishes is cheaper because they are for takeaway. We again apologise for the inconvenience and we hope to see you again. Kind regards,Spiced Barna

Kashmir Restaurant

Kashmir restaurant is Galway’s oldest Indian restaurant. It was established in 1994 by the Bhan family who named in after their homeland, the beautiful Valley of Kashmir, described by one of the mogul emperors as “paradise on earth”. The restaurant was or

I knew I would have Mango Lassi! We were at first given a selection of 3 wonderful Indian sauces with what we would call in the USA corn chips or salsa chips. My Mango Lassi was so delectable. We do not have an Indian Restarant in St. Augustine and begged the owner to move to St. Augustine. Lamb Curry was our choice although we each had a different dish. The garlic naan was wonderful. This was such a joyous dining evening that I am expressing my felicity one hour after my dinner.Again, Galway has a variety of restaurants & this one was our favorite.
