Had the burger here this evening, good portion sizes even with the smaller burger option and quite tasty, would have preferred if the chips hadn't been salted before being served but still very nice. Service was good, very friendly barman/server. Best of all they have prosecco on tap at 5 euro a glass, great value and a lovely prosecco. Cocktails also available at reasonable prices. Would recommend.Thank you very much for your kind words!!

Val's never lets you down! I went there yet again, with a group of 20 others to enjoy our Active Retirement Christmas Dinner 2018, and we certainly weren't disappointed! The four-course menu available had enough variety to more than satisfy everyone. Everything was beautifully cooked, the service was efficient and 'merry' and a jolly good evening was enjoyed by all! The lovely Christmas décor really helped to make the evening special and we thank the restaurant staff sincerely for looking after us all so well! Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

My husband and I had a meal in Le French Corner this p.m. We both had starters ( Shrimp and Deep fried Brie ) They were excellent. They were accompanied with a side salad which was fresh and very tasty ( I mention the side salad as often side salads in restaurants are very bland, ours were full of taste and lovely flavours ) our lovely starters were followed by Fillet steak and Duck . . cooked to perfection and again lovely sides. The service was excellent. . we were in no way rushed and were made feel very welcome and our custom appreciated. . . Thank-You. . We look forward to our return visit. Thank you so much for your fantastic review . We are delighted that you both enjoyed our food and we really look forward to serving you both again . Merci encore et A bientôt.
Maestros restaurant at the Cill Aodain Court Hotel celebrates classic Irish cuisine with European accents. The menu features dishes that make inspired use of the finest seasonal produce, predominantly from local and sustainable sources. The team works clo
We had a party of 15 to serve and the food was superb and service excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff considering the age range was from small children to 80+ grandparents with vegetarians, pescatarian and the rest to cater for. Highly recommend.

Whilst staying locally, we decided to come in for dinner on a Wednesday evening. There was lots of variety on the menu and the portions were very generous. The two members of staff who served us were lovely and very attentive. Clearly recognising our accents they took the time to make conversation with us about what we were doing in Ireland. Will definitely eat here again if we are back in the area.

Just a short drive from Ballyhaunis, we had dinner here on a Tuesday evening. Reservations are a must since this is a small restaurant. Check their web site to see their great menu selection. The staff is very friendly and the service good except we had to wait 15 minutes for our check after the meal. They serve good size portions of food and there is a value menu from 5-7 PM. The chicken caesar salad starter was almost a meal by itself with a lot of chicken. The goat cheese bon bons starter was excellent. The grilled salmon with shrimp and basil cream sauce was excellent, but there was very little shrimp in the sauce. The Old Arch chicken supreme was excellent and the black pudding stuffing added a little spice taste.

Had heard about this place from two different people raving about it and I was not disappointed!I met a friend for brunch and we both had the avocoda and poached eggs with salsa on wholemeal toast. All the tastes and flavours complimented each other and it was served with tea/coffee.We were both really impressed with the service, food and value for money. I cant wait to return!

Situated in Brickens on the N60, exactly halfway between the towns of Claremorris & Ballyhaunis
Called in for lunch & to read the paper. Excellent service from Damien, really friendly & welcoming guy, a true professional. Had the cajun chicken burger & sweet potato fries which were both excellent. Great selection of local beers which unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try this time but will be back

Lovely, restaurant in one corner of the ever-improving Shrine. Menu comprehensive and staff very helpful BUT service should be more based on carvery-style i.e. customers line up with trays at counter/display and order as the queue passes the display up to the Checkout. Therefore, no waiting for waitress service - though it's fast enough.Thank you for your lovely comments. I can tell you the Café did try queuing at the counter last year but it was not a success at all. Bear in mind we have many elderly & disabled customers who would find it difficult to manage carrying a tray of food & drinks. We have excellent waiting staff & do try to deliver orders as fast as possible. We can also interact more with our customers that way.
