Italian version of a real English style pub - interesting! Unbelievable selection of beers and good snacks in a very informal and friendly place.

Excellent choice of Italian menus, carefully cooked and presented, at moderate prices. We went there for a family dinner, and even with small children, were very friendly served. Modern style of interior, modern equipment in kitchen. We tried taglierini, risotto, and fish, all of it excellent. For finding Figino-Serenza, 15 km south of Como, we recommend a GPS-navigator. We stayed at the Villa Argenta, close by, under the same management, and were very satisfied.

In a beautiful location surrounded by nature, we offer high quality italian food that comes mainly from our production.
For a traveler to Como a stop at this restaurant would make your stay complete. It is a totally different side of Lake Como away from the touristy restaurants. This restaurant was built for locals and largely is frequented only by locals. Too bad! This is a restaurant for family gatherings. It was designed this way. The owners greet you like family and the staff takes care of you like family. The waiter translated the menu for us. The owners introduced themselves to us and gave us as gifts food products made on the farm. I toured the kitchen and met the chef. At this restaurant you saw the heart and soul of Italy: families gathering together to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays and life in general. You are set in a parkland type setting with beautiful grounds. The restaurant highlights the view. The food is an experience to savor. Plenty of choices and everything is fresh. Creative blending of flavors and the presentation of the food is nothing short of spectacular. This is real artistry at work in this kitchen operated by a young and energetic chef with a creative spirit. It was a culinary treat to sample this menu. The wine cellar is equally impressive. But it is the warmth of the people that takes great food and great wine and great service to the ultimate dining experience.

Very unsual pizza: long and thin, served on a wooden platter. Very thin crust, very crunchy, absolutely delicious. I personally recommend the âSolareâ, which features small fresh tomatoes and bufala mozzarella. Ask them to add a little basil before cooking for an extra sweet taste. All other cooking is good too. I recommend the Pappardelle and the Orecchio D'Elefante, which is a thin cut of meat in breadcrumbs. I come here very often and the service is brilliant. My favourite place in the neighbourhood.

We have been waiting for a long time for this day to arrive. For a weekend, you need to book very early. Unfortunately for us our daughter was got sick on the way there so we couldn't actually relax at the table with one of us having to be constantly worrying about herWhats to say? Food was very good, wine was reasonably priced, service was friendly and attentive, Pasta was fresh and tasty, fiorentina was perfect and desserts tasty. Only 1 comment, which was not a problem for us but maybe would be for some, was the lack of a menu and therefore prices. There was however a wine menu. All in all we spent 210 for 3 antipasti, 2 primi, 2 fiorentina, 3 desserts, 2 bottles of valpolicella repasso, water and coffees. All good value. We left a tip and I thought it was a nice touch that the waitress came out and said thanks

Our restaurant wants to present itself as a place of gastronomic culture, and does so through a careful selection of local products d 'Abruzzo Arrosticini as tasty and much more ...
I quite liked it but the group were a little more pessimistic. Not a very special place to look at but they had a good house wine, good primi but some were a little to expensive. There were 4 adults and 2 children and we spent 173 euro for 6 apetizers, 6 primi and 10 arosticini at 1.20 each plus 1 1/2 litres of red house wine and water. We had some trouble trying to attract the attention of the owner, either he couldnt hear us or was not interested which was a bit frustrating at times. Everything we had was good just over priced for this type of restaurant.

Head waiter very pleasant and spoke good English. Food was excellent, but not cheap, but then there are no bargains in Northern Italy!! so be prepared to pay more for everything. Lovely touches to our meal and free lemoncello after, nice touch. Staff did everything to make our meal memorable and it was. Thank you Al Torchio.

I first reviewed this restaurant in Oct 14, and have now returned again.La Rotanda, with it's "compact" menu, is not the most economical establishment to dine in, but what they produce is excellent, thus making it good value. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and as well as the menu there are sometimes daily specials. Our group enjoyed a variety of meals, all nicely served.Well done Rotonda and I hope to visit you again, soon.As a price indication, for a mixed dinner for five with wine and water came to â¬158.
