We ate one night; note the restaurant opens late by European standards. We were turned away as we were early, but went back later and were the only table for a while. The waitress was entirely competent, if rather workmanlike. The food was fine, and tasty.

This is a unique and special gastropub. I had some of the BEST tapas/small plates I've had in a long time. They also have an extensive bar with local offerings. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The building has large windows, is decorated with antique items, has brick walls and wooden beams. The Chubut River is directly behind the property. On Saturday nights, they usually have live music. Prices were very reasonable. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and plan to return.

21/119We three middle aged British guys were travelling round the Welsh colonies of Patagonia and felt like a meal out in this laid back town. Unfortunately it was a bit too laid back on a Monday late evening. After a lot of walking, chasing up badly located (TA maps the incorrect), asking around in pigeon Spanish we eventually came here. This is the only restaurant open but does not take cards so draining our cash reserves (ATM charges are exorbitant). Food seemed to be at good prices but wines started at 300 (£6) so pricey for our budget. It was open till midnight and had a steady turnover. The music was 80-90s so like the Hotel Touring Club in Trelew! Our original reccie was at 9:10pm and only one couple were about to order. We walked to explore other options which failed and returned at about 10pm to find it had become quite busy. We took a table and were served by a waitress who did not speak much English (or any Welsh, despite a huge Welsh flag above the entrance, probably fourth generation). We decided not to have wine and just order a litre of Quilmes (170), the menu offered pasta and salads. We are pescatarians and there was no fish on offer only meat if we were to stray. We ordered veggie in the end.The waitress dropped off a steel bowl of toasted bread and a dip. There was no cover charge. My salad Primavera (150) was generous and tasty with chopped up cheese, beetroot, carrot, olives and tomatoes. My friend's Tallarine/Tagliatelle Four Cheeses (150) was also tasty he said and our friend's Mushroom Tallarine (200) was too.As the wait for the dishes was a bit long (it was busy with families eating out) and we were thirsty we ended up having another bottle of Quilmes. We asked for the bill which came hand written at an accurate 990 so we rounded it up to 1100 and left sated and happy.
lo recomiendo para ir a almorzar, pues se come muy bien y a la noche puede ser un poco pesado, buena atencion, falta limpieza y servicio
