A bit uninviting from outside, but inside is quite nice..a big selection of lagers/beers but as foreign beers, are more pricey than similar bars..offers a selection of burger type meals that ate good quality.

Tutto buonissimo.Sapori veraci, prezzi onestissimi.Consiglio le pallotte cacio e uova e gli arrosticini.Location da trattoria/osteria anni 80.Senza formalizzarsi troppo si trascorre una serata di gusto spendendo poco.Consigliatissimo.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch when staying nearby.Nothing much to look at and inside is decorated like a Disney restaurant i.e. fake sky and scenery painted on walls with tiled roofs on serving areas. Slightly bizzare but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were late for lunch so it was empty and had the special "complete" menu - 10 euros per person, 2 courses with bread and drinks.Pasta course was huge! Simple spaghetti with ragu but wolfed down by the kids!Mains were diverse - pork in lemon, fried chicken wings (all good) and a gammon/cheese parcel (possibly an acquired taste.)All came with roasted vegetables, spinach or potatoes.Cant beat the value at 86 euros for 8 people with a litre of wine!Staff recommended we come back at night for the barbecue but we never got the opportunity and it wasn't a hit for everyone......Locals did recommend it to us and said the lunch is more a "workman" style affair but the barbecue at night is much better.

Locale veramente molto bello e particolare. Personale gentilissimo e abbastanza veloce. Cibo buono, ampia scelta di vini e birre, prezzo giusto per la qualità. Da tornarci sicuramente.

We have stayed not far from Lanciano and decided to drive one of the evening to dine somewhere local. Just to say a few words about location. Lanciano us a beautifull little town with small shops and Saturday market (read my other review is a must. Its completely tourist free. Restaurant itself is not based in city center and not in the prettiest area (industrial buildings and some apartment blicks). There is a place to park (i recommend to drive there at least once during your stay). Even so area is not attractive inside its very pleasant atmosphere and very stylish decor. Menu is concentrating around meat, so veg and vegans there are limited choices. 1st evening we decided to try arostocini, they have 7 different varieties (chicken, lamb, liver, filet beef, angus etc). Cooked perfect and each piece tastes like heaven. The best aristicini we had during 2 weeks stay in Abruzzo. 2nd day we came back since we had to try burgers....and believe me im not a burger person but when i read description i had to try it. Black Angus burger for 2 eur have you seen it anywhere in Europe? There are different varieties there us buffalo burger with mushrooms and bacon, spicy jolopegno burger, loads of choices, all served with crispy potato skins and melted pecorino cheese. Service is friendly, staff very little speaks English but its normal for Abruzzo. You do not need English in a menu everything is clear or get Google translate if needed. We loved everything about place and spend 2 evenings there as well as got some food to go. Highly recommend once u tired from pizza and pasta.

My friends, Nick, Dave and I visited this restaurant on arrival in Lanciano as it was Nick’s favourite from his previous visits. It was a trek from the hotel we were staying at so when we arrived I was absolutely starving and really looking forward to whatever was on the menu. The place was starting to get quite busy but we were seated quickly and served without delay by friendly and helpful staff. The dining area overlooks the kitchen and grills so there were fantastic aromas of delicious barbecued meats and oven baked pizzas tempting us from the start. We opted for the bruschetta and skewers and they were absolutely delicious. Nick suggested a ridiculously high number of skewers between us but I have to say, once we had started to tuck in, it was really difficult to stop and we ordered seconds to help wash down the really tasty local beers which complimented the different flavours.By the time we finally left, full to bursting, the place was absolutely heaving with many families including children and best of all it was great food and even better value for money.

Good grilled meat, especially the small lamb kebabs (arrosticini). Good atmosphere, good service, good value (60 euros for 2, 4 courses, wine/coffee/digestive drinks - difficult to find those prices in Italy now. Our second visit and will return whenever we are in the area.
