It is not just the best pizza in Sicily, but the owners are so nice. We got there late at night, the owners were welcomed us very warmly with a fresh pizza with eggs, olives and other delicious ingredients that we easily finished a pizza. The next day, we arrived at almost midnight, they were about to close, but they insist that we will eat something and they prepared us a salomon pizza, that was the best pizza we ever eat. We also took the arancini that was delicious. If you are in Linguaglossa - don't miss this family pizzeria.

Our lovely winery/hotelier recommended this pizzeria so we drove up the Mount Etna road a little and entered hmmmmm! only one other couple in attendance. Anyway we stayed and BANG! a thousand local screaming Sicilians turned up and what a great night! Top Pizzas top wine and cheap at half the price.

Tuesdays most restaurants are closed... like Boccaperta and Cave Ox (a place I was really looking forward to going) and the wonderful staff at Shalai recommended this gem. It is typical Sicilian fare and we thought it one of the best meals we had eaten in Sicily. We could not stop eating. The antipasta with fresh ricotta and homemade salami was a meal in itself but we had to have the wild boar ragu and then there was the homemade grilled sausage and roast potatoes. This was a meal that I will think about again and again and again

This is really what you could call an 'authentic' classic pizzeria. No one speaks any languange but Italian, but with a little bit of knowledge of pizza-ingredient-italian that is absolutely no problem. Bruschette were nice and fresh. Not the absolute winner in crispyness but certainly one of the better. Good ingredients. Local wine @ â¬3,- per 1/2 liter is nice. 2 Bruschette, 2 pizzas, wine, water and coffee Cost us just â¬27,50. If you are looking for a good pizza and don't want to spend too much, this is a place to be.

We were lost one dark night and they were so helpful that we decided to come for lunch the next day. Excellent local cuisine - veal, pasta, salads - and good local wine. Would strongly recommend it. Easy to get to from Linguaglossa.

This is an interesting place, lively with lots of locals meeting there - it seems mainly to chat, not to eat! The standard of the restaurant and the furniture is very simple, this is not a place where you enjoy a cosy dinner! But the pizza is quite good, prices are very cheap, so value for money definitely high.
