Despite the bad reviews (and not checking Tripadvisor before) we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner at this pizzeria. Superb pizzas, good service, would return again!

I was very surprised, the place is new, and it's up in the hills , there is a view of the volcano and the Mediterranean but that was a minor point to what I experienced. The place is a beautiful new building, with a wonderful beam ceiling, an a clear view of the kitchen, it has a wonderful outside pool fountians, now for the food, I had some excellent fish ! Wow... You know ... I never thought I would have found such a wonderful place. I will be surely always come back to the Jewel of a find. It left me with some of the best memories of Sicily !!Also, I do not think, ( given my extensive travel ). That this is a $$$$. It is more $$
One of our first meals in Sicily. We had to have arancini as starters, of course, and no doubt these were decent. But to be honest, they're not that exciting really, are they? We had various pleasant pastas for our main course. I mistakenly had one topped with pistachio; I normally like pistachio but it really only works as ice cream! There was a good selection of desserts, and we mainly had semifreddo, which I enjoyed. All very good value at â¬100 for five people. Then, unfortunately, one of our party fainted, twice, just before the end of the meal. The response of the restaurant staff in delivering first aid was very prompt and appropriate, and they arranged paramedics very quickly. Fortunately, all was well, but I would like to praise them for that.

This restaurant is the nearest walking distance to where we are staying and the steep road sharpened our appetite. We were briefly disappointed that our walk was in vain when we found a dog-show taking place, but were soon shown to a table and the staff were very attentive and we got by in our basic Italian and their similar grasp of English. The waiter brought 3 bottles of wine for us to choose as we prefer a grillo, and then the pork steak I ordered wasn't available. The pasta dish was, as is often the case, very substantial and my steak which was a replacement was very tender and wonderfully cooked. As the dog-show continued around us until after 10 pm you couldn't say this was a quiet meal for two, but memorable nonetheless.

We came through this town after an afternoon hiking in Etna. Both towns that were lively on Sunday morning heading up to Etna were desolate at 3 pm for Siesta. We just happened to see this place open and truly had the best lunch. Homemade maccaroni Uncle style. Wild Etna mushrooms with delicious sausages mixed grill, Sicilian antipasto and so on. Just delicious. So homey and rustic and authentic. So happy they are open during siesta.

Got recommended this Trattoria by our hotel Antico Borgo. Great food, great service. Antipasto and pasta was amazing. The other visitors I was with would have given this place a full score but I have to mark it down because of the steak that I don't recommend. Anyway that's part my fault because who orders steak in Sicily? Highly recommended.

"I Russò" restaurant, pizzeria, born from the common passion and from the collaboration of two brothers, Doriana and Alfredo Cavallaro, who became members at the age of 18. The kitchen of "i Russò" is purely homemade with a marked Mediterranean imprint. T
We literally popped in for lunch on our way past, had a nice couscous appetiser (unexpected) and chose from a limited menu due to the common "nothing pizza based at lunchtime". A hamburger, lasagne (dish of the day), a mixed salad and the most wonderful home made chips later and we were off having paid our bill of less than â¬20. We may return to sample the wider menu in the evening.

I have organised for a group a wine tasting here and we had a great experience and time. The wines were lovely and the appetisers of local cheese and salami were very good and enough for a full enjoyment. The location is nice and the staff was friendly

Between Mount Etnaâs glowing lava and the deep blue of the Ionian Sea is an immense secrete place. The fragrances of roses and orange blossoms are in the air and small candles light up the night with magic. Inside this place is an elegant villa with rooms
My husband and I held our civil wedding ceremony and reception at Villa Fago on 23 August 2015 and had the most beautiful day. Fantastic, elegantly traditional food from Chef Tripoli, with friendly, attentive service from the Maitre D', Ianni, and not forgetting Stefania, who organised everything in the months running up to the wedding and made pulling a wedding together in the space of four months simplicity itself. All we had to do was turn up on the day and celebrate with our friends and family. We can't thank you enough.

Food was ok but, since we had asked for a table in the outside garden, we thought we would have been sitting under the sun. Not at all whatsoever. No grass, no garden, no sun, just a balcony closed by a solid roofing. It is middle of October and we are at the feet of mountain Etna. It is pretty cold and we donât want our clients to be seated outside and be uncomfortable. We are glad though you liked the food. We pride on serving only food prepared with the freshest ingredients and Sicilian recipes. Please comeback in the summer time, when the Sicilian sun is strong and warm and we will be more than happy to sit you outside so that you can enjoy the sun as much as you would like.Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!
