This is a regular Spanish bar which is particularly welcoming, and particularly well-located if you happen to be cycling up or down the Via Verde, and there is a bit of genuine innovation and creativity in the cuisine produced by the amiable chef and his partner.

There were 8 traveling in our group 4 of which were children. We had dinner here the first night and it was good. Nothing fancy but we truly enjoyed it and we had plenty of drinks to go along with it. the Sangria was amazingly delicious! We tried the trotters in space, oxtail, steak, fish, soup and hamburgers between the 8 of us. And a couple of salads. Kids had ice cream and sodas and we had wine and beer and Sangria. All for a reasonable price! The family was very nice!

Really lovely food as part of a mushroom and game festival where lots of restaurants are taking part in the area. We tried a few but this was definitely the best!!!

Top 10 Spanish food in Medina de Pomar, Province of Burgos, Spain

Good food, good service, good ambiance, glad we picked this place we had a lovely lunch, really enjoyed trying to translate everything from Spanish as no English spoken so a little challenging but worthwhile. Hopefully going back tomorrow.

We have eaten here on a previous visit to the village, and were pleased to return twice this time. A good project by the hotel to balance the rather old fashioned, traditional image of its restaurant in the main building. Lunch/dinner available on carta. Plenty of interesting dishes as well as some Spanish standards and burgers. At first sight, prices seem a touch high, but the 5 dishes we tried over 2 lunches could all have been easily shared: all good quality ingredients, plentiful and well presented. Doubles as a chill out space with deck chairs etc for evening drinks. Recommended.

We had dinner here. There was no menu in English but the owner was so helpful. We had a vegetarian starter(humous, tomato and olive dip, courgette and walnuts dip with crackers) and two croquettes(Bacalao and Ossobuco). They were absolutely delicious!! For the main, we had vegetarian pizza and capricciosa. They were very thin crispy based pizzas. We loved the atmosphere in this restaurant. Very homely. Also it didn't cost a fortune either. We paid â¬40 which included two beers and two glasses of wine.We went back for coffee the next morning as well. The view from the terrace was so beautiful. We'll definitely go back if we have a chance!!gracias por su atencion.
