Benicàssim (Valencian pronunciation: [beniˈkasim], Spanish: Benicasim, Arabic: بنو قاسم according to numismatic findings) is a municipality and beach resort located in the province of Castelló, on the Costa del Azahar in Spain. The Desert de les Palmes mountain range further inland shelters the town from the north wind. The name is derived from the Banu Qasim tribe, a segment of the Kutama Berbers that settled the area during the 8th century Moorish conquest of Spain.

We used to go to Benicassim a lot during our holidays and we always have lunch in this restaurant. Amazing food, they have a 3 course menu with 3 choices of each. Home made food top quality, plus every day complete different choices. Best paella I've ever eat in Spain ... Thursdays and Sundays is packed because of that but you can pre order it any day of the week. ... A must go.

Visited this venue for the first time last night. Monday evening, but soo quickly filling up, so a great atmosphere. It was a celebration evening for us and the charming staff contributed to the warm atmosphere. We were treated to to â¬40 menu. A seemingly never ending supply of sharing platters. What variety of quality food. Everything well presented and of course as they were sharing platters, this contributed to the celebratory atmosphere of the evening. The food was of such a quality, my wife was tempted into sushi tuna, also octopus! A first, which I never thought I would ever see, but she even enjoyed them. I would point out that the octopus really showed off the skills of the chef as it was so tender, you couldn't help but love it. Excellent wines to accompany the meal gave us a superb and unforgettable evening. Thankyou to everyone who contributed, not the least, our dining companions.

Bist rice in Benicassim since 1970. Located in a typical Valencian farmhouse or "Barraca". Very close to the beaches.
Service was quick if a little difficult to order due to lost in translation .Food was ok, beer not very pleasant.Staff friendly but not enough on considering FIB weekend.Ok but wouldn't go back.

Beautiful restaurant, fantastic terrace and even better chiringuito de playa ! Without any doubt: best place in town. Weâve started with brunch and simply loved it, so we stayed for lunch and really enjoyed it. Everything weâve tried was amazing, presentation as well as taste. The staff is great and we are already looking forward to come back. See you soon, amigos...

Well ... after a lot of disappointments, this restaurant came at our rescue :)Wonderful authentic spanish food (you'll find only Spanish people eating there) lost in the middle of Benicasim, the service was very friendly, efficient, and the atmosphere was great. All of that at a very, very inexpensive price ...Just go there.

A very friendly reception and lovely atmosphere. We had lovely chilli olives with a beer and wine which would have been great value. However, the owner then brought the best patatas braves any of us have tasted, again as a free tapas. Unfortunately we visited to late in our stay to enjoy a full meal but on our list for our next visit.

I came across this restaurant purely by chance, as I was sheltering from the rain and they invited me in. I had a cafe con leche and straight away there was a good feel about the place. Manilo served me with a delightful cup of coffee. Guests were just walking out of this eatery and I asked them would they recommend this restaurant. They did and I certainly was not disappointed. So I booked. Unbelievable! The best lobster I have ever tasted with fidua (sorry about spelling but it is the pasta version of paella). Beautiful dessert too and good wine. Manila is so on the ball. Attention to detail and has trained his staff so well. What can I say "A Fabulous Restaurant" for which I thank you. Will book again before I go home.

We came here numerous times during our stay in Benicassim for the FIB festival, the staff are friendly and welcoming and we were given some complimentary trail mix and olives to pick at whilst we waited for our food to arrive. On our first visit I opted for one of the burger options and, whilst I personally found the meat to be a little too pink for my liking I did appreciate that it was a tasty sandwich nonetheless - you can taste the freshness of every ingredient down to the slightly toasted bun and crunchy veg with every bite. Due to the overwhelming size of the sandwiches (literally bigger than my own head), my friend and I decided to share the Super Pollo Chicken on our next visits as we both struggled to finish our separate ones the previous day and it was absolutely delicious - I could not find anything to complain about even if I wanted to. The chips are also pretty tasty too if you have any room left! This is the sort of place you go to once and leave eager to return the next day, and I will definitely be coming back given the opportunity!
