After a long drive we were worn out and chose to eat at the restaurant hotel even though it appeared quite simple. The menu meal is only 20 euro and includes drinks. the food is well presented, flavourful and filling. I would recommend a visit even if you are not at the hotel.Some of the dishes are attached as photos.

Stopped in based on a friendâs recommendation who had eaten there on a recent business trip. Located mid-way between Valencia and Barcelona. A little challenging to find but well worth the effort. Outstanding experience. Our 5-person party were the first customers of the afternoon, hence the restaurant was empty. However, tables filled-up quickly. The tapas was first rate and the entries were special. Suggest that you order a meat selection that you BBQ yourself at your table. Help yourself to the large cider barrels that line the wall. A little pricey for a lunch, but a great take. This was the best restaurant we visited while in Spain.

Spectacular little restaurant near the city centre of Castellon de la Plana. We wore amazed by the food! We have taken the menu of the day which consisted in 8 delicious courses. The staff is very polite and the cooker is a real profesional. We strongly recomand this restaurant that needs a Michelin star!Thank you very much for tour comment, Adrian. Been here many times and enjoyed every visit. No english spoken but pigeon Spanish works just as well. We are treated like old friends. Excellent food quality. Not cheap but then that is not what you go for. Frequented by almost exclusively Spanish people which says a lot. Visit if you speak a little Spanish or have a good dictionary!

Huge menu of paellas which Iâm sure are great but my companion and I immersed ourselves in the Montaditos and tapas instead. Everything was delicious, freshly prepared and very filling. Ingredients of very high quality. The service is warm and attentive. You feel like a special guest in someoneâs home. We had both the white and red house wines which were excellent. The place is bright comfortable and quiet enough for serious conversation at dinner. Eating at Quesomentero was a complete new experience for the senses. Being cheese connoisseurs we expected a variety of great cheeses (which we got), but the staff was able to surprise us with completely new flavors and textures that we had never tried. They elaborate personalized cheese platters after an extensive -and friendly- interview on one's tastes and personality. And guess what, platters matched completely what we wanted, while also getting one of the most pleasant dinners ever. Very reasonable prices and a huge variety of choices -albeit organized in a clearly readable way- make Quesemontero the perfect place for any kind of cheeselover.Staff is super friendly and attentive. Nice offer: 0.9⬠glass of wine on Thursdays.Enjoy!

How the hell such a good restaurant got the name like that? It had nothing to do with German cooking. It's a pure heart of midterranian quisine. It must be some kind of witness protection program, which aims to hide good food away of strangers. And the food is delicious. Perfectly grilled vegetables as a companion for softly fried squid with a little taste of olive, basil and lemon puts me into food heaven. Specially after hard working day in, I must admit, ugly city.
