Yesterday we went down to Vinaros to have a meal with friends Jean, Phil and Keri. The restaurant we intended feasting at was closed so we went to another of our favourite eateries. That was also closed. We then went in search for somewhere open as most placed were closed for the day. Happily for us we found Tres Rayes, which is right on the northern end of the promenade near the exit to the underground parking. The lights inside the restaurant were on and were beckoned inside by one of the staff. The weather, by the way, was atrocious with rain..wind..high seas and anything and everything you could think of. Once inside it was warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. We got seated at the table, no rush, and proceeded to order our food and drink.Everything about the meal was fantastic AND the service and attention by the staff was second to none! We will be back.

Fabulous outside evening dinner on Saturday night with friends near the bustling promenade and marina. Very friendly knowledgable attentive waiting staff who worked with us on our broken spanish and their broken english. We ordered a mix of starters including their pride of local jamon which they cut to order at the adjacent jamon station. The flavours were delicious. The Andalusian calamari was beautifully cooked with each piece being al dente soft captured in a light crisp coating. However the star of the show were the fillet steaks cooked perfectly and oozing with succulence accompanied with a smooth balanced Protos from Ribera del Duero....no space for postre!!!Gracias por su calificación y reseña. Pizzeria Mistral Restaurant since 1991, in Vinaròs (Castellón). Come and try our Pizzas, thin and crispy, fresh pasta and meats. We use local and seasonal ingredients. We want you to enjoy our food both at our local and TAKE AWAY service. And do not forge
This is a very good pizzeria which cooks pizzas in the traditional way. The salads are fairly basic, often with a lot of picked onions and gerkins, which is unusual but still good and you do have to make your own dressing with the oil and vinegar provided. If you eat before 8 pm there is a cheaper menu available and you can get a basic pizza (from a choice of two - cheese and ham and pepperoni) and a soft for a set price. Their omlettes are also very good value. This pizzeria is extremely popular in the summer and you need to be prepared to wait for a while. The service is always efficient and the waiters are charming and helpful - many speak English and other languages and the menus also are translated into English, French and German. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic restaurant which uses absolutely fresh ingredients sourced from the local market. The menu offers a very wide choice, from salads - with properly made salad dressing, which is adapted for each individual salad - not the usual do it yourself oil and vinegar combo, to delicious fish, usually grilled with herbs and a wide range of thoughtful tapas. They also do a selection of extremely good open sandwiches for those who prefer a lighter meal and there is a good choice for children including hamburgers and the staff are also happy to rustle up egg and chips for the fussier eaters.Their selection of menu del dias at lunchtimes (from 1 - 3 pm, Mon- Fri) is astonishingly good value and you can have a two course meal with bread and a drink and coffee/or a pudding from 10 euros. We've been coming here as a family for five years now and we have always had a completely delicious meal served by very friendly and efficent waiters. Popular with locals and visitors alike, in the busy summer months you may have to wait for a table, particularly if you arrive after 9pm. They have English, French and German translations of their main menu and there is usually somebody who can speak enough of these languages to help.

Nice place,in front of the sea. No wind (they are using windshields which is very pleasant). The food was very good and really fresh. The service was also very good. We will commend this restaurant to anyone who loves to have a good seafood meal with fresh ingredients.

We took the "menu tradicional" @ lunch which cost 35EURO and does not include wine nor cafe. This is very expensive for Vinaros so expectations are also very high. The food was good and well presented. Environment is nice weather you eat inside or outside. Portion are not very big but we were not hungry when leaving. Overall ok so deserve an average rating. I feel it is too pricy compared to others and will not try it again.

Chose this restaurant based on TA, but came to regret the choice. Atmosphere is so-so, while location- right on the beach- is excellent. Staff is quite friendly and welcoming but the quality of the food mediocre. Salads drowned in unhappy dressing and pizza's that were kinda bland and - in the case of the salmon - too salty. Maybe our experience was a one-off or all the other restaurants in Vinaros are really terrible.

CHA SISCO BraserÃa · Tasca · Cocedero · Burladero Especialidad en carnes a la brasa y pescados de lonja. Productos selectos de interior de la provincia de Castellón.
Tried the hot stone beef chop, more than enough food for 4 people and only â¬42.00 including patatas fritas. A really interactive family dining experience. Wine very reasonable and very nice. Beautiful scenery overlooking the sea and port, staff very friendly and made a table for us even though they were very busy. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Vinaros.Highly recommended.

We always like to visit when we are in Vinaros. We are always made to feel welcome and on our last visit with grandchildren they were well catered for. The food is always of high quality and our younger daughter, who did not visit this year can't wait for 2017 so she can enjoy the Devil's Roast!!
