We were in Caserta visiting Palace Caserta and left looking for lunch. As you expect this time of year very few paves were open. We found Barbeq open but also that there was a language problem. However the staff were so accommodating and between Facebook photos and hand signals we given great food, fantastic coffee and the best Red Velvet Cake. We can honestly say the hospitality at Barbeq was the best we have had in Italy.

Sono stato in qst ristorante nel week end. La proposta è abbastanza contenuta (il che non è per forza un difetto). La qualità dei prodotti é però di medio livello, rispetto ai prezzi leggermente alti per quello che viene proposto. Il servizio è a tratti disattento, ma sufficiente. Nel panorama delle bracerie campane sempre più in crescita, di sicuro non un eccellenza, ma se ci si trova nei pressi e si vuole mangiare una bistecca non è da scartare.

Staying for the night after a long day cruising down from Milan, we booked a table at this restaurant that was recommended to us by the hotel receptionist. We were so impressed with the food presentation, especially with the bistecca. Had a lovely evening with great atmosphere. Congratulations to the management & Staff.RegardsRay

Unlike many other enthusiastic reviewers, I'm a bit in doubt about my judgment. I benefited from a 50% discount, nonethelessI have to admit that full prices are not fair enough. Having said that I'll continue with three critiques: fries in our "Mama's dish" were too greasy and not handmade - which was not specified in the menu; the house draught beer - the australian Foster - was almost tasteless (too much water?); and finally, the place is pretty small, but there so many tables that someone suffering from claustrophobia may have some problems. What saved the day were our burgers: a fresh and light New York (speck, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and lettuce) and a really amazingly delicious Pennsylvania (the house's flag 180gr beef burger, ranked fourth in the region, with aubergines "alla parmiggiana" and scamorza cheese). Everything was â¬34, â¬17 discounted.thank you

Sometimes as an American I just want a simple burger when abroad. I am not ashamed. This lovely eatery delivered on all accounts. The burger was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. This was an amazing side step to a week of delicious Mediterranean food that I desperately needed. My partner had a chicken burger that disappeared before I could sample, but needless to say he gave high marks.If you need a good solid burger or sandwich. This is your only stop here in Caserta.

We stopped in this trattoria for lunch after seeing the castle in Caserta. Wonderful experience. The food was spectacular. The service was friendly and the air conditioning felt wonderful. They had an extensive wine list including wines from Caserta which were very good. Our waiter (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was very helpful and efficient. A great dining experience at a very reasonable price.

Firstly, let me say this review would of been completely different if the manager didnât have the most incredible customer service ever. We ate here 2 nights ago and personally I wasnât happy with my food (everyone else in the party was) I am not going to say why and put any unnecessary comments. But the point is I wasnât happy. The manager was incredible and although I said it doesnât matter and that I didnât mind he said he couldnât have me leaving with an empty belly! Which he really didnât have to do and was incredible of him!Thank You for all. At the next time :)The Flaming Pub Staff
