This is a great Pizzeria close to the Royal Palace of Caserta. We ate here on two occasions during our week long stay. On the first occasion it was midweek and quiet so we managed to get a table in the little 'lean-to' with the three outside tables; and on our last night, which was on a busy Saturday, we ate inside. Staff and food were excellent on both occasions, and on the first night the pizzaiolo was more than happy to allow our daughter film him preparing and cooking the pizza in the clay oven. The pizzeria is located about 50m up the first small road to the right of the Palace (as you look at it from the front) on the corner of the first alley/side street on the right.

We stopped in this trattoria for lunch after seeing the castle in Caserta. Wonderful experience. The food was spectacular. The service was friendly and the air conditioning felt wonderful. They had an extensive wine list including wines from Caserta which were very good. Our waiter (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was very helpful and efficient. A great dining experience at a very reasonable price.

This restaurant is excellent, hands down. The staff attempts to speak English, and although it isn't strong, they try hard and it is easy to get along. The risotto di mare is outrageously good. The mozzarella and prosciutto is outrageously good. Do your taste buds a favor and go to dinner at Pizzeria San Carlo.

Located somewhat off of the general tourist trail is Pizzeria da Sasa Martucci which serves the best pizza that I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. The quality and cooking of the dough was absolutely exceptional and of course there were a multitude of different flavour combinations to choose from. Even the desserts - supplied by a super high quality artisan Neapolitan patisserie - managed to match the high calibre pizzas. If you want to try the best Neapolitan pizza (possibly in the entire world) this place is definitely worth a detour!

I ve to say this pizza is amazing. The dough simply perfect, easy to digest and the mozzarella, tomato, products they use are first rate. Itâs an experience eating there. Usually very crowded we were lucky to fin a table for 4 at 7.45pm.

We had a fantastic lunch here, hosted by Luciano who looked after us wonderfully from beginning to end. The food was excellent: an abundant antipasto of fresh local produce (the mozzarella was divine) followed by delicious typical âscialatielliâ pasta with clams and mussels. Highly recommended!
