Reviews on Fusion food in Vejer de la Frontera, Province of Cadiz, Spain. Vejer de la Frontera is a Spanish hilltop town and municipality in the province of Cádiz, Andalusia, on the right bank of the river Barbate. The town of Vejer de la Frontera occupies a low hill overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar and surrounded by orchards and orange groves. It contains several ancient churches and convents, and the architecture of many of its houses recalls the period of Moorish rule, which lasted from 711 until the town was captured by Saint Ferdinand of Castile in 1248. Agriculture and fruit-farming are the chief industries; fighting bulls are also bred in the neighborhood and a running of the bulls is held annually.

I loved the atmosphere: the views of the surrounding countryside from the outdoor area of the restaurant are gorgeous so itâs a wonderful place for having drinks or appetizers at the high tables theyâve got. And, while it doesnât have the views, the inside is very colorful and beautifully decorated. The menu was innovative and I enjoyed everything we orderedâthe cheese plate, artichokes, presa and desert (except for the corvina which was undercooked). Moreover, the waiters were friendly and attentive and recommended some good local wines and the meal came to about 20 a person. All in all a nice experience!

The food, service and relaxed, casual atmosphere here are wonderful. We stayed at the La Brena hotel for a week and ate in the hotelâs restaurant three times. The tuna dishes are very good and well worth trying. The wines are excellent, too, and offer tremendous value for money. If you visit Los Canos de Meca, give this place a try!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon with 10 friends...there are no airs and graces about the place but the food was excellent and the service very attentive especially with the demands of 10 choosy diners! The band that played later in the afternoon were very good and the place was humming..A definite return visit called for..They have a curry nite this Friday!Dear client, thank you for your visit and opinion. We really hope to see you soon at Iguana.Kind regards.

Las Delicias, located in a former theater and transformed into a unique place in the area where you can enjoy a delicious cuisine. In our kitchen, pantry La Janda is our product and respect the environment, where the main actors carry names like "Retinto"
We were really looking forward to our Saturday evening meal at Las Delicias and weâre very impressed with the slightly industrial decor. After that things went downhill.....we should have been warned when our starters arrived 2 minutes after placing our order! We had a variety of main courses and all bar my friends straightforward steak were very disappointing. My husband had meat in sauce . This came in a huge bowl but initially only consisted of 3 pieces of lukewarm steak. In fairness when this was pointed out to our waiter it was replaced with a somewhat more man size portion. My friends meal closely resembled a boil in the bag lamb shank and proved to be both cold and tough. I struggle to describe my meal...... imagine thin slices of over cooked pork rolled round cheese dipped in breadcrumbs and deep fried then covered in more sickly cheese sauce. Very unpleasant and again Luke warm! The fried potatoes and stewed peppers were by far the best dishes and came at extra costOur initial complaints were listened to but got little action and there didnât appear to be a manager on duty. Altogether very disappointing and not to be recommended.
