The Low Cost Design Hotel in Burgos City Center. Family Rooms and Studio-Suite fully equipped. Facilities include: 24h. Free Coffee Break, TV + DVD, Laptop in your room, Free Internet Access (Cable and WiFi), Body Jet Shower. The best mix of comfort and style....
Stayed for two nights. Postage stamp size room with paper thin walls. Right next to a restaurant with outdoor dining. Noisy until at least midnight. I would not stay here again. Facility was chosen as part of a package I made with Spanish travel company.

Situated about 30 minutes' walk from city centre, an advantage in being quiet, with safe parking. Clean, comfortable and very modern décor, well-furnished, and an elevator for room access. Breakfast very basic, but overall good value. Pleasant city, with great cathedral, good restaurants, quaint street sculptures.

Don't let the label of hostel lead you astray. The rooms are just like a hotel, tv, good beds, fan but no air-conditioning. We had a warm welcome (despite getting lost and going to another camina de fabrica miles away we did reach it). Drinks in the charming courtyard, which was full of local people, friendly atmosphere. Wine was good value and eventually we moved onto Sangria (we know touristy but it was very refreshing). It was also good to see some of the pilgrims on the camino reach the accommodation. Traditional food is served, and we made a mistake and it was not to our taste. When the owner saw that we had left most of it she apologised, not her fault at all but ours. She refused to charge us for the food despite our protestations. I think that this shows just how much the comfort and happiness of her customers matter, very impressed. You can walk into the town, which has a bank and some small cafes etc, for those on the camino, we had spent an hour getting lost so we stayed in the courtyard. Good nights sleep but the rooms perhaps need a little more sound insulation as you can hear those in other rooms. The bathroom was beautiful but think we got up after all the hot water had been used, no body at reception when we left at 8am so we couldn't thank them. Would certainly stay again if making a similar journey.

We present a new hostel recently renovated (November 2014) more spacious, modern and functional rooms. All our rooms include bathroom, TV and Wifi. The location of the hostel is very central (2 minutes from the Plaza Mayor) along the Duero river and the two bridges that articulate the life of the city. The reception of the hostel is in Restaurant Resinera at number 25 on the same street
Central location, very friendly owners (but no english), comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Great value for money. Parking might be a problem but its free in the streets. We stayed one night and the place is more like a 3 star hotel than a hostel. Breakfast was included but we did not have any.... Would stay again!

Albergue para peregrinos con habitaciones privadas para peregrinos y visitantes. Bar y restaurante
This place is my favourite of the 17 hotels/pensions/hostels that I have stayed in so far while walking the Camino. It is right on the Camino as you come into Castrojeriz situated in a nice older building that was refurbished just a few years ago. You enter through the bar where the proprietor/barman checks you in. There is a dormatory and also private rooms and I had one of the latter. It was on the first floor and very big compared with rooms in many other hotels. There were twin beds, closet and some drawers. The bathroom was small but had a good sized shower cubicle. The only thing I didn't like about my stay was the very slippery surface in the shower where I ended up a bit like Bambi on ice. The wifi was adequate. The proprietors were such nice people. Helpful and fun. I had the pilgrim's meal in the evening and it was extensive and good. The bar seemed to be a gathering spot for locals which was nice to see with so many other places closed or deserted. The proprietors were up again by 7.30 am to make coffee for those of us needing a jolt before we headed out on to the Way. This place is good enough to be a destination in itself and I would consider returning for a non-Camino visit.

Very lovely lodging! Extremely clean and modern. We had a private room for two with a bathroom. The host Joaquin was excellent - cooking dinner and breakfast and even washing our clothes. This was one of our nicest stays on the Camino. Highly recommended!

It is a renovated 1906 building has 6 double bedrooms, one triple and na wheelchair accessible. We also have 28 seats in bunk beds in 4 rooms Pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago and groups The property has a cafeteria and restaurant We also have a wonderful garden terrace
This is the worst place in town. The girl working in the bar wouldn't let us sit and eat our food and she wouldn't believe that someone in our group had brain cancer and they were mocking her and laughed at her. Then they wouldn't give us a cent back because we had already showered. Don't stay here. It's horrible.
