Reviews on International food in Tigre, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Day-trip distance from Buenos Aires, the Tigre River Delta offers porteños (Buenos Aires residents) and tourists alike a playground for everything from horseback riding and hiking to fishing and swimming. Comprised of hundreds of tiny islands, the Tigre is about 20 miles northeast of Buenos Aires and is reachable from the city by trains, then by boat from the train station. While the main attraction here is the delta itself (formed where five rivers come together), you’ll also find a Naval Museum, restaurants and playgrounds for kids. Several tour companies offer day-trip excursions to the Tigre River Delta—but visitors also can book stays in area bed & breakfasts and adventure lodges.

Young but traditional
Family restaurant in San Fernando. Food is good ( hamburgers, grilled salmon, salads, etc and waiter attentive but the wait for the food is oh so slow - close to an hour after arrival
Kanoo is a restaurant (they also organize kayak tours for those interested) on an island in the Tigre Delta, just 10-15 min by boat from the main fluvial station. They have a stall at this station which is how we got to know them. It was a great decision to visit! The restaurant is focused on mainly local fish and also has great steaks and pasta, including some specialties like yacare (a local alligator) ravioli. Food was really great, excellent and attentive service plus friendly owners who after our meal explained the importance of the Delta for the city and a little history of how it was formed. They also put great emphasis on sustainable development and you can really notice the passion for their work and the Delta! We were super glad that we chose to come here. Thanks a lot Damian and Ezequiel for the hospitality. We surely will be back. Thanks a lot for your feedback and for sharing your experience and opinion with other visitors. We hope to see you again soon at Kanoo. In case you would like to come back and make a reservation please contact us at +549.11.6691.2222 via a WhatsApp or phone. Kind regards,

Food is simple but of good quality, service friendly and moderately attentive looking over the Bahia boat dock at Nordelta. We ordered lomo grille served with french fires that was tasty and filling. The mixed salad of lettuce tomato and onion was fresh, crispy and on the large size. I would also recommend the trout and the noquis with salsa rosada. The wine selection was OK with some well know names but surprisingly more expensive than higher quality restaurants. Good selection of local beers.Recommended for family and a seat outside if the weather is good.

Everything is spectacular, even the basket of delicious bread. Fix menu with two or three choices. Deserts are nice but compared to the heavenly mouth melting first and seconds not as bright. You might prefer choosing the wine you'll order instead of having the house wine that comes with the menu. Another thing address on tripadvisor is not the correct one for this splendid place. In stead it is located on Boulevard Saenz Peña 1400. Tigre. Menu by Juliana Lopez May one of the top chefs in Argentina.

This was our lunch stop during a day in Tigre. We liked the look of the outdoor seating area and appreciated being able to be seated right next to the river. We had mushroom pasta and chicken salad. Food was okay but not memorable. Service also fine. Boat watching was excellent!!
