If you are looking for a great bife, this is the place to go.The atmosphere is nice, somewhat artistic but decent. Service is good, they also speak english and explain the menu to you.What you should order is the bife de chorizo. Simply amazing, grilled perfectly medium on the open parilla. You can watch them prepare it. The cubierto includes warm crunchy slices of bread and a tasty paté.The chorizo sausage is also good, it comes with fresh baked bread.WiFi is available.

A pesar de haber concurrido varias veces, no habÃa opinado antes en TripAdvisor... El aspecto es de un bodegón pero muy pulcro y una excelente atención... Los platos son abundantes y, en mi experiencia personal, cocinados al punto que se solicita. Ofrecen un original Cabernet nominado "Abrasado"... Papas fritas únicas... De atención, berenjenas y morrones asados riquÃsimos... Carne de primera y postres de poca variedad pero muy buenos... Aconsejo reservar porque, especialmente los fines de semana, se llena.- Aceptan VISA débito.-

Es un lugar frente a ruta amplio cómodo.Precio fijo sin bebidas.Tienen muy buen buffet con muy buenos quesos, fiambres, escabeches y vegetales. Diferentes estaciones dónde vas con tu plato y te sirven lo que pidas. Achuras,carnes de vaca,,cordero lechón y pollos.Parrilla y asador.Nos encanta a toda la familia concurrimos para festejos familiares o dÃa del padre etc.Luego hay una estación de cocina, pastas rabas croquetas etc.Los postres muy buenos y abundantesMi preferà el tiramisu.

Es mi tercera visita a "Lo de Jorge". Realmente la atención es excelente, tanto en el estacionamiento como en la recepción y en la mesa. La barra de tragos es interesante.En esta oportunidad nuestra elección fue una tabla de achuras y una porción de vacÃo con una ensalada. La carne muy bien, la ensalada también. No puedo decir lo mismo de las achuras. Si bien se notaba que eran de excelente calidad, tenÃan un aspecto algo asà como de "recalentadas". Una lástima porque opacaron el resto.De todas maneras sigo insistiendo en que es una muy buena opción en La Plata, donde las parrillas escasean, sobre todo las decentes.

La comida sigue siendo rica, pero cambiaron de dueños y el sistema que utilizan ahora no es muy bueno. Abren como temprano a las 21hs (cada vez más tarde) y si llegás antes te hacen esperar afuera. La comida para llevar, la tenés que dejar en la parrilla una vez que la juntaste, y la verdad que en los dÃas de calor dejar comida con mayonesa al lado de la parrilla, no es algo muy tentador. Repito, la comida sigue siendo muy rica, pero hay cosas que cambiarÃa.

It never fails to produce a good steak and it is very popular with platenses. You need a car to get there as it is on the main road (Camino Centenario) between La Plata and Buenos Aires. Very busy at weekends and you may have to wait for a table if you don't arrive before 12:30. Argentines tend to lunch after one pm and everyone arrives at the same time! There are other restaurants nearby but few are as good as this one

This is a really good place to go for dinner. The service was very attentive and helpful explaining the dishes. I liked the starter (crunchy toasted bread with aioli). The Bife de Chorizo is really good, the media porción is well enough if you also go for a postre. I ordered it a punto/medium and it came a bit too much towards bien cocido/well-done. As a side, I had the Ensalada Completa (media porción again) which is rich and more than enough. As postre, the BudÃn de Pan can be recommended, if you still can eat. You can order it with cream or dulce de leche.Overall, the food quality was very good.If you are looking for a perfect Bife de Chorizo, however, you should go to nearby Lo del Negro. The Prices in the Parrilla are also slightly higher than Negro. If you prefer a more formal atmosphere and great service, Parrilla Los Discos should be your choice.

First let me start to say we are from Argentina. We live in Houston, however every year we go back to see family. This place is expensive everyone paid $315.00 pesos even my 10 year old. The pictures on the website aren't real! Their sushi is awful. The desserts are no unlimited is only one per person. The website advertisement is a lie. I hate when they do this!

As a native of La Plata I was pleased to see a good steak house with high standards of cooking. We had the chorizo sausage that was superb, hardly any fat in it and cooked to perfection. We then had two sirloin steaks again very tender and succulent. If you're not a big eater I'd suggest you share the steak as at 400 grams it's a large piece of meat.The restaurant takes MasterCard and has free wifi. The reason I did not award 5 stars is because the wine list, although excellent, does not offer half bottles. As my companion doesn't drink alcohol I had no choice but drink a glass of house red. The decor was simple and clean, staff friendly. Reservations online are encouraged. We went on a Friday for lunch without reservation, I presume the place can get pretty full. Not sure if there is seating upstairs.

Club Atenas is a perfect Argentinian barbecue and very abundant is what you will have if you visit this restaurant.Always full of families and tourists from various places.The prices are solidary and the portions abundant.It is better to reserve a table by calling by phone so avoid waiting because it fills up fast.
