Party of 4 3 entrecote steaks one was very fatty,my agnello lamb was all breast of lamb( no cutlets for 24 euros !No chips just sliced up jacket potatoes all food cooked over a wood fire hence name fornello will Not come again their speciallity on the night was Tripe Yuck!!

Great atmosphere here in this medium to large size restaurant, booked in for Easter banquet 6 months prior to Easter,the owner rang me in the UK to confirm booking was still on a month before Easter.Very Good Service!!Wood Burning Pizza oven the real McCoy!!.Good Pasta and Risotto

A total find! Coming to the end of a two week holiday in Puglia, and coming straight off the beach, we had had our fill of pasta and pizza and were on the hunt for something new and casual. Situated on the street, the ordering system is somewhat of an enigma for English speakers but the general gist is that you order from the till and then hand the yellow tickets in for drinks and chips and blue tickets for meat from the BBQ. You then bring your food to the tables. Simple street food. 5/5

Had lunch at mama Lena and we sat outside. Service was very friendly and the pasta was very well prepared and tasty. Price was really good.

It's a beautiful, rustic-elegant looking restaurant. Family owned. No foreigners. The authentic Italian experience. The antipasto changes daily; innumerable little plates brought to your table which alouds you to have a little taste of everything: cheese, salads, seafood, polpetti, meats, stew, pickles, etc... They have a wood oven outside where the make all sorts of pizzas with the freshest ingredients. Open year round.
