i've been fortunate enough to travel for biking holidays in the north of italy these past few years. a restaurant i stop at in the middle of a favorite ride is Al Mulino. the Proprietress speaks little english but her warmth and service are easily understood. it could be the fatigue, but the simple tomato or pesto pasta is among the best you can experience. the perfect sauce and ideal aldente. very affordably priced, with an outdoor dining area near a rushing stream, it is the perfect break spot. i look forward to my next visit!

Very inviting atmosphere and welcoming staff. The sommelier was professional and friendly as were the servers. The stewed veal cheeks with polenta was superb so I shall return. The wine list is extensive but three of the wines we asked for were out of stock. Wines by the glass are also available, which I liked as often we order meals that require different types of wine. The cheese platter finished the meal off perfectly. I believe we have found a new local restaurant to enjoy during the skiing season and the bonus is it is just steps away from their fabulous spa centre. Both are a must.

Ping! The sound of the microwave oven. Within a couple of minutes your food is served. The table bread: dry. Stale.French fries: frozen, out of a sac. Eighter too white or too hard. Tasteless.Mayonnaise: these very small plastic sacs. Two of them.Spinach: frozen. If you knew the name of the vegetable, you could taste the flavour.Salad dish: yes, you can spot the green salad at the bottom of a pile of raw carrots cuttings.Steak: thin, very thin. Two slices, totalling aproximately 100 grams.

I went there with two friend on the way back from the Adamello Glacier. The place is ideal after a day of intense sport activities. The restaurant have a lovely familiar atmosphere, the owner is very energetic and welcoming. The food is great and comes in large quantities as an ideal follow-up of a long walking/skiing day

Traditional Italian incl lots of wooden decor. Food is huge and tasty. E.g. Small side salad is good for 2. Pizza is 12"+. House red is excellent

A small restaurant across the road from the pathetic Grand Paradiso hotel. Doesn't look fancy but the meals will surprise you. Meat is exceptional.

I first went to this Albergo thirty years ago, and apart from the food, nothing has changed. The hospitality is as good now as it was then. The food is excellent, and reasonable. The rooms are bright and complement the view's of the surrounding mountains. You are in easy walking distance to Ponte di Legno. The menu is typical regional Lombady cuisine. As a Birthday treat for my wife, she was over come.
